At a deficit of about 600 cals, will lifting on two consecutive days be detrimental to my recovery?

I lift 3 days on 1 off when cutting, never had a problem recovering ans I still train heavy and with volume, oh and btw on a 900 cal deficit. Just get enough sleep and hit your macros, don't train stupid and try to avoid injury

What do you mean by recovery? You are working the same bodypart(s) both days or what?

Just don't do the same body parts both days and you'll be good

What this guy said. If you are following a structured program then it should be designed like this already to avoid working the same muscle groups the same day, but if not then you should make sure that whatever you're doing isn't, regardless of whether you're cutting or bulking.

As all the others have mentioned. Don't lift same part back to back. And yes, lift on every day you want and feel rested enough.

Im on a cut (6 weeks in) and I lift days a week. Some days consecutively. My days off from lifting are cardio days. Don't do leg day twice in a row lol. What these guys are saying is true.
