Can you building muscle by eating all your calories in just one meal?

Do you lose muscle by eating just once a day? (One meal)

By taking all your protein needs by the way...

Thanks

I only do something similar like twice a day during cuts , even though I have a huge appetite I wouldn't eat all of my 3500 bulking calories in one meal, why wouldn't u spread it out. Don't u want energy for your workouts

Edit: yes you can build muscle eating once a day , all that matters is you hit your calorie target

Guys like alan aragon and layne norton generally recommend 4 meals a day with .3 grams per pound bodyweight protein in the first four meals and about .6 gramps per pound bodyweight in a pre-bed meal.

You can build muscle with one meal a day, but, in general, I think you will do better spreading the meals and protein throughout the day

Going to be a big meal to get in your calorie, macro/micro-nutrients all in one go; but yes you can.

You will be able to build muscle as long as you're hitting your targets for the day. IMO, eating all your macro's for the day in one sitting can be done if you're hovering around 2000 calories, if you're bulking around 4k....well, that sounds painful

That may not be a good idea based the studies by Dr. Layne Norton and & Dr. Jacob Wilson. The protein you consume will be digested but the amount for muscle protein synthesis is limited and will reach a threshold.

I wouldn't try it. One meal, all of you macros...I would probably throw up from eating to much or sleep for a day or two.

Possible, definitely would NOT recommend it if you're trying to maintain MPS. Doesn't sound optimal at all.
