View Full Version : Nutrition breakdown from frezzing food

I was just wondering how long foods can be frozen before starting to lose nutritional value. In this case, chicken breasts. I hate preparing a few every few days or every week. I would hate going out to a store that often as well. I used to just by a months worth at a time, cut off fats and what not and then wrap individually them in tin foil. So i was wondering what the limit on that is. Wont do much good if its lost any nutritional vale.

Personally i toss stuff after about 6 months, but you are fine longer than that. Even longer if you have deep freezer in your garage etc.

wow, thats a lot longer then i would have thought. I doubt id ever have the money or enough room to get THAT much at once lol. Thanks for the info.
