Kobe is rare man, dude barely has a life outside of basketball and his family. his focus is razor sharp

chit happens when you are that zoned in about anything in life. imagine if you had that much discipline and commitment in whatever you do, you'd probably be one of the best at it over time.

It's a shame Harden and Dwight are the reasons Houston won't win a championship for the remainder of their contracts.

Lmao at tying all your money into two proven losers. Do you legitimately believe you'll win a chip with all your cap space dedicated to those two?

No ****,that's why MJ is the GOAT. He's be up until 4 gambling and drinking then go drop 40 in a playoff game. Kobe has to spend 12 hrs a day in the gym trying to be MJ just to become a poor man's version.

James Harden is widely agreed to be the best shooting guard in the NBA right now....

Dead at a fan thinking his team has a serious shot when one of their best players couldn't even land a starting role on a team that lost in the finals.

Kobe is one of the ****ing goats and even after almost 2 decades playing in the NBA is still better than James Harden could dream of being.

I know, but this thread wasn't about career stats bae. Clearly right in the OP he's talking about Kobe's current season and McGrady's attempts in the Chinese league at roughly the same age. This has nothing to do with what either of them did back in their primes or their aggregate numbers.

Why would you just want to make the playoffs? It's all or nothing. For that exact reason I want the Lakers to lose as many games as possible to get a higher chance at retaining their top 5 protected pick. There's no point of just making the playoffs if you're never going to come close to sniffing the finals let alone winning a championship.
