View Full Version : Hoping for some help with diet

I have chosen to start a clean bulk/bulking diet and I have finished calculating how much protein, carbs, and fat I need but I have two different results. One diet calculator suggests I take 213 grams of protein, 298 grams of carbs and 71 grams of fats (per day), the other suggest 142g of protein, 230g of carbs and 71g of fat. Im 5 ft 7, 18 and weigh 142 pounds. Can someone suggest which diet plan I choose?

Use the numbers as given in the sticky threads. Note that you don't need to hit exact macro numbers. You just need to meet or exceed the minimums for protein and fat - the rest can fall where it may as long as it adds up to your calorie target.

Don't put too much store in calculators, they are basically guesswork. You really need to pick a number and run it for at least 2 weeks before evaluating and making adjustments.
