Agreed. Watched NFL Gameday all morning yesterday and they all picked Denver to win (no hate on the Broncos, I expected a really close competitive game). Kurt Warner said Denver would win by 20+ points. Marshall Faulk wasn't giving the Pats any credit either. lol @ butthurt '01 rams players.

Anyways Pats played great on offense/defense/special teams. Denver will bounce back against Oakland.

Real tough schedule comin up for the Pats too. They make it out of these games with wins and they have to be a favorite to win the SB.

I think the biggest challenge Pats will have despite the blowout yesterday is the Chargers. Chargers show up in a big way in big games.

Holding the #1 seed in the AFC will be key to the Patriots making the super-bowl. As a Broncos fan I would dread going to Foxborough in January.

I actually don't think we'll have the #1 seed with Mayo and Chandler out. I think we drop 1-2 games for the rest of the year and come in as a 2-3 seed, hopefully 2. Would like to see the chiefs beat the Broncos in KC to help us out..

Realistically we pull the 2 seed. We play too conservative and I don't think home field is as big of an issue as the health of our players is.

Healthy Gronk/Defense and we can easily go into Denver and win.

Showed up real big yesterday.
Broncos was/is Pats only competition, maybe GB too. Just lol at Chargers.

If tommy and the line keep playing the way they are it'll be hard for them to lose a game.

How well the Pats do depends on if they can keep that #1 spot.

No team is beating them at Foxborough in the playoffs. No team is beating Denver at Mile High in the playoffs.

Anyone that picks Peyton manning's team to win in a Brady/Manning matchup is a potato. How many times do have to see the same fukking movie over and over and over again before you know how its gonna end.

Livin in the past, are we?

I'm just staying on theme that "no team is winning in mile high"

I guess that only holds true year to year? Are we doing that now? Cuz that's stupid. You either have a heavy homefield advantage or you don't.

Negativ
11-03-2014, 12:55 PM
Denver has a huge homefield advantage. A last second hail mary to tie it and win in double overtime isn't a common thing. Home losses happen, even Seattle lost to a team that never made the playoffs at home last year, doesn't really mean much. The Patriots at Mile High will lose almost every time.

wat.

100% serious.

Denver was up 20-3 through 3 quarters in the AFC Championship Game @ Denver. That's Seattle level rape. I hate both teams so I'm relatively unbiased, but NE will lose most of the time in Denver and vice versa. That isn't even debatable. Maybe if you guys didn't get your asses kicked last year you could.

How is it not debatable that the Patriots will loose in Denver 100% of the time? Because the pats have won in Denver quite a few times you bum.

You know what is debatable? That Peyton manning is the PROBLEM with the Denver Broncos, not the patriots .

If Talib didn't go down early, NE probably wins that game instead of Dennard getting destroyed by DT. Thank you based welker god.

No they haven't. The only games the Pats have played at Mile High since Peyton got there, they've lost.

Both teams can finish 0-16 for all I care.

Maybe, can't remember the game so well.

Im talking about the entirety of the teams existence, You said Denver has a huge home field advantage, didn't think you were talking about only since Peyton has been there.

Maybe, can't remember the game so well.

TLDR version; Peyton can't buy a first down with a brick of gold. Denver runs pick play. Welker hits Talib, who limited DT to one catch for negative yards, Talib goes out for game with hip injury. DT goes for metric ass-ton of yards and is all over the field catching balls and touchdowns. gg pats lose.

In on box score analysis.

That Patriots team was missing Gronk, Mayo, Wilfork, and lost Talib early in the game. That's 4 of their top 5 players out.

If this Pats team doesn't sustain any more injuries, and Chandler Jones gets back to the level of elite pass rusher he was through the first 7 weeks, this team is the favorite against any AFC team.

does it count as a trick if you're tricking yourself?

The rules allow the defense to match substitutions. Denver didn't even have to rush their players out there.

Don't care, discussion isn't about how different the Pats are from last year. It's about Denver winning at Denver 80% of the time and vice versa.

Get back to me when the Patriots can win in Denver.

They can and have won in Denver many times. Last Year The pats had 8 starters on the IR by the time they were in that game. And lettuce be realty, the pats shouldn't have even gotten that far in the first place, their offence pretty much consisted of Brady and Edelman. And its not Like peyton had a fantastic game either. Then peyton went to the superbowl and got absolutely demolished like he has in almost every big game he's been in.

Thanks for the cliffs, but did you srsly neg me for saying Broncos would win a majority of games at Denver?

Every team has injuries, but that's besides the point. SDballer seems to think Denver doesn't have a huge home field advantage even though they have like 1 loss at home ever since Peyton got there. I'm just saying Patriots win most of the time against Denver if they play at Foxborough and lose most of the time if they play at Mile High. Not exactly a controversial opinion I'd think.

You said

YouThe Patriots at Mile High will lose almost every time.

Your evidence to support this was 1 game played last season by a Patriots team that was decimated by injuries.

This Patriots team has a completely different offense (last year's personnel was built around a 2 TE offense where one TE was in jail and the other a walking boot) that walked all over Denver, and a completely new secondary built to beat Denver that did that job yesterday.

Pats beat Denver by 22
Pats will have a top 10 pass rusher back in Chandler Wilson
Broncos will win "almost every time" just because the game is in Denver?

lel Called it last week after my boy Brady and his squad wrecked da bears that they would go in dry against Denver. I think the Pats are 11-5 now against Manning iirc aww yea hnnng. Makes me happy to be a pats fan. The start of the season my phaggot friends were calling me out saying the pats were a dead team. Got to lmao at dem phaggots last night as Pats are Number 1 in the AFC East right meow.

They do that similar play multiple times a season, and the reason is obvious. It not only causes confusion for the defense and a possible too many men on the field penalty, but it often results in the defense burning a timeout in a critical point in the game.

gronk wasn't full speed and we didn't have our line figured out. not denying that we got crushed, but idgaf about that game anymore. it helped us if anything
