The artist formerly known as D whistle has returned. He's dropped a tremendous amount of weight, and looks to be moving very well compared to years past for those who haven't seen him in preseason.

Wade has always been lazy to a degree and I really believe he took the Lebron years for granted, by not taking care of his body. He let himself get fat, and deffered far too often to James as time went on.

Wade is dominant at the top of the PNR..he's one of the best the game has ever seen at attacking the double team, and using the high screen and roll. He will see a lot of action in this set as oposed to years past where he was maginalized into an off ball cutter.

What people don't seem to grasp about Wade's game is at its roots its based on touch and craftyness. You don't score buckets as a 6'4 wing player unless you have excellent footwork and touch. His game models that of an aging Jordan and one I project to age well with him in the twighlight of his career.

My projection has him playing around 70 games with around 22-24/5/5 on over 50%. The rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated and its time the 3rd best SG of all time leaves his mark on the game.

Is he done? Or is he about to cement his legacy?

For Wade it's true in terms of overall production, not shooting percentage. Lebron dominates the ball and starts your offense. Wade is best when used in the PNR. He wasn't given many opportunities to do that along side James. Wade isn't a great spot up shooter, and I would argue a terrible fit alongside James. Nonetheless he found ways to be effective, and did so with historic efficiency.

Now Wade is back within his natural game. I expect him to have a tremendous year offensively. As long as he is on the floor he will score. No guard in the game today outside maybe Kobe has Wade's skill in the post and midrange.

So geeked up Wade about to go in dry on these Wizards from Washington. The return to greatness starts tonight.

Hope to see Ennis get some run, really love his game thus far. Nappier is the one guy I am most interested to see. I think I've gone back and forth on him being a complete bust to future all-star several times

What should I do? Should I admit I've made mistakes? Should I tell you about how much fun the last four years have been? Should I tell you we did it for the rings, the glammer, the attention? Should I just accpet our place, as a bottom feeder? Should I just clear the floor and start over? Or should I become a Cleveland fan? Should I jump from franchise to franchise following my fan boy crush? Or should I remind you that Miami has done this before? That this isn't something new? That your time at the bottom makes the climb all the much sweater? Should I remind you that Lebron is nearing 30? That his best years were spent in South Beach? Should I remind you he declined on the defensive end last year? Should I remind you that he has gone to an even worse defensive team? Should I remind you his game is based on phisicality and athleticism, and will not age well with him? Should I remind you that he's now lost the size that allowed him the excel in the post? Or maybe I should just makes shoes shinny new shoes.

This is the best supporting cast Wade has had outside the big 3 era. It comes down to him, if he can return to form, this team will win a lot of games, and be right there at the end of the year.

I have them as a 45 win team, but Wade's knees are fuked. He'll be good when he plays, but he'll probably play 60~ games this year.

People have this idea that he sucks when he plays because of the finals last year. He's not that bad, just bad knees and poor conditioning. He lost a lot of weight in the offseason and looked good in the preseason. Its up to him to do it over the course of an 82 game season.

He took Lebron for granted. Not that mad James left Wade wasn't being a professional. He let himself get fat, allowed himself to get lazy. Took for granted how easy it would be. Miami coasted the entire year last year and you saw the results in the finals. Wade was always the alpha he took a back seat. Lebron was left to lead the team, he slacked on the defensive end and that attitude spread throughout the team. They got too pleased with the idea they had a "switch" and got burned by a team who prepped all year to beat them.

Wade has responded although I would have liked to see him do it last season. He has lost a lot of weight and it gives me chills watching him move around the court because he's got his burst back. I entirely believe at this moment Wade is capable of being a superstar. However we will see as the season goes on if fatigue begins to become an issue. For now I am very pleased with what I have seen from the entire team.

Wade is crafty, hes a true scorer. He doesn't need to be a high flyer, or quick burst guy to get buckets. He's as capable of a scorer in the post and midrange as any wing left in this league. If he can stay on the court it wouldn't suprise me if he has an all nba season

Nah man, the Finals were the nail in his playoff coffin. He looked servicable in the series leading up to it, when no one was keying on him like the Spurs did.

Do you think everyone FORGOT what happened last year(2 years ago my bad) when he was legit a zombie for 3 1/2 series and then revived himself for 3 decent games after LeBron literally went SSJ4 to bring them back into it?

Anyone still denying Wade literally coasted those last 2 seasons is lying to themselves. He WAS legit the best 2nd option in the league in 2012. Now he's just a fat lazy piece of sht. I'm interested to see how he does, but set your expectations low man.

Wade looked like he was 25 yesterday

I have watched almost every game of his career. Wade let himself get fat, that is a fact. He has completely dropped the weight, and this is the best I have seen him since 2011. Wade won't ever be able to play 82 games, but Wade has a game that will age very well with him. He fits into that rare set of players who just know how to score, regardless of what they can do physically. When he's actually feeling good out there...you see halfs like yesterday.

The way he is talked about you'd think he was 40, Wade is only 32

If you take a peak at Wade's career stats, and compare them to say Kobe's, you can begin to understand how vastly underrated Wade has been his entire career.

Statistically superior to any guard all time not named Jordan. You can only wonder what might have been had Wade not had knee issues. This guy easily could have been the best player of this generation.

Wade ****s all over Tracy (I didn't even average 20 ppg) McGrady

McGrady is vastly overrated he never shot over 45% and continously failed when his teams needed him. He deserves to be a talked about player of the 00s, but belongs nowhere in any all-time discussion. No knock on him he just never was on that level.

One thing about Wade is his ability to step up in big moments and close out games, is second only to Jordan in my mind. Simply one of the best closers the game has ever seen. Him Jordan and Kobe all possessed the ability to take over games like no other.

You saw it on display yesterday when the Cavs had to go to a zone because nobody on their roster was capable of defending Wade 1 on 1

hnnnnnnnnnnnnng. No hate against Lebron, but I much rather see Wade in 4th quarter situation because LeBron has the handles of a middle school Center. No hate. He (LeBron) can do great stuff, even in the fourth, but if you fluster his dribbling in the a tight situation he will lose that ball hard. So I'm glad to have Wade and Dragic doing the ball handling.
