LA here he comes!

Already said he's no interest in the Dodgers.

Can't believe the Braves would rather keep that piece of horse smegma Frediot over trying for an actual manager.

Well he also said he wanted to stay with the Rays. Dunno what to think now.

Yankees fan here who has always respected Maddon and what he has done for that team. Managed to have them compete with such a povo front office and sh!t fan base.

Source: Maddon NOT heading to #Dodgers.

Rosethal is usually pretty accurate but like you said, did say he wanted to stay with Rays. Some rumours floating around that the Cubs could be a team to look at.

If Milwaukee gets rid of Roenicke, I wouldn't mind seeing him with the Crew.

This....... As a Yankees fan, obviously we played against him quite often, it would be cool for him to get a shot with a legit team, or at least a decent team with a passionate fan base.... I am pretty sure the Cubs fan are passionate, it would be a good fit, it sucks he would have to coach against a legit curse tho....

With all the young talent, their willingness to spend money, the Cubs and Maddon will be a match made in heaven.

As a life long Cubs fan, I have a semi just thinking about this next season. I will be fully erect by Spring training.

Kind of trading down if he goes to the Cubs.

Kind of, but their farm system is stacked with guys in aaa that are ready for the big league and thieo and maddon are both advanced metrics type guys, i think it would work very well.

Stacked farm on the cusp in one of the biggest markets in baseball, under a President and GM who get "it."

Doesn't matter, they're still the Cubs.

The advanced metrics that Maddon is so fond of would have had the Cubs going to the playoffs this year. Plus he gets out of the AL East. And the Cubs are just waiting to spend money on decent FA pitching.

As opposed to being the Rays who just lost their wunderkind GM and are about to undergo payroll cuts with no foreseeable young talent on the cusp due to several poor drafts in a row? That franchise will be out of Tampa within 5 years, their "magic" is gone...now they're back to being a declining team with no fanbase and ownership who will field a bottom-dweller payroll.

Yup, still the Cubs.
