lmao @ lakers

I'm not sure I can decide on the western conference ratings, such a clusterfuk

Spurs (1-3)
Clippers (1-4)
OKC (1-4)
Warriors (1-6)
Grizzlies (3-7)
Blazers (4-9)
Rockets (5-8)
Dallas (6-9)

Phoenix (7-10)
Pelicans (8-12)

Kings?

There's my choices in order but with ranges for where I think each team can likely end up. I think the entire conference is up in the air. The top 4 can all compete for top spot, 5-7 could all fight for homecourt but could also miss the playoffs entirely. Spot #8 will be a dogfight as usual

I dont really give a fuk about eastern conference right now but I'll throw it together anyways.

1. Cavs
2. Bulls
3. Raptors
4. Hawks
5. Hornets
6. Wizards
7. Knicks

East:
1. CHI - Provided they stay healthy #1-#3
2. ATL - prediction - Breakout year with Horford back #2-#6
3. CLE - Don't worry I got them winning the east, i just think they'll take a while to come together + experiment a bit in reg season. #1-#3
4. TOR - Not sure yet how good they will be but 4th by default could finish #4-#8 tho. Monster in Preseason though
5. MIA - Still a good team, if a few guys (granger/wade) reverse aging could be a monster #2-#6.
6. CHA - looked pretty awful in preseason - pretty solidly #6 though i think
7. WAS - Lost Ariza - looking a bit slow #7-#10
8. IND / BRK / NYK - If IND's smart they'll tank, otherwise they'll probably end up 8th as defensive teams don't require roster to win reg season games, BRK - depends on health, NYK - Depends on trades

DET - could be a surprise ?

-------
West:

1. LAC - Breakout year - weaker bench than last year though could finish anywhere #1 - #4 kinda figure post-sterling bounce
2. SA - Default #1 - #3
3. MEM - Best team in the west last year after Gasol got back - didn't lose anyone + got old man Vince Carter
4. OKC - Durant being out first couple weeks will hurt record
5. POR - Still a crap bench - Trillard-Year3 + LMA #5-#9
6. DAL - No idea what will happen, could finish #4 - #10 depending on injuries
7. GSW - Not a fan of Steve Kerr + Not sure how KT is going to play due to KLove thing. Injury risks++ Could overachieve #5-#7
8. HOU - Ariza helps on D but man bench got decimated + still no1 that can pass to the post. I don't see them missing the playoffs but #5-#9

#9 - PHX/NO - Bledsoe's contract thing was dumb - NO might need another year, either could end up #7-#10

West is ridiculous again, SAC has an outside shot if boogie decides to put some effort in, PHX could make a huge trade with a few of their pieces and enable a team or jump up, DEN isn't horrible either.

East will be more competitive than last year - I think a few major trades to consolidate teams/solidify tanking will occur though.

lmao @ lakers

I'm not sure I can decide on the western conference ratings, such a clusterfuk

Spurs (1-3)
Clippers (1-4)
OKC (1-4)
Warriors (1-6)
Grizzlies (3-7)
Blazers (4-9)
Rockets (5-8)
Dallas (6-9)

Phoenix (7-10)
Pelicans (8-12)

Kings?

There's my choices in order but with ranges for where I think each team can likely end up. I think the entire conference is up in the air. The top 4 can all compete for top spot, 5-7 could all fight for homecourt but could also miss the playoffs entirely. Spot #8 will be a dogfight as usual

mirin willingness to put warriors at #1.

More confident rankings than all of the warrior brahs ITT

**SMH** sleeping on the Knicks..... no way they don't squeeze in this year.... Unless Melo gets injured long term, early-mid season, I just don't see how they don't make it to the playoffs in the east... Although they will get knocked out in the 1st round, they will still make the playoffs....
