Notre Dame is probably done. Their strength of schedule isn't nearly as good as we thought it would be going into the season. Plus they have no way of getting more than 11 wins and can't claim a conference championship.

Watch for OSU too (if they beat Mich State in a few weeks). No way 2 SEC teams make it unless Miss State is undefeated and then loses to a one loss UGA in the title game. But I dont think that happens. Everyone but 1 team will have 2 losses.

Also K State TCU winner could make it if they end with only 1 loss.

Arkansas hasn't won an SEC game in almost two years(maybe more??) yet beat them soundly. Plus even if you take those two away that's 4 ranked OOC opponents the SEC has beaten. As far as I can tell at a quick glance the Pac 12 has one(Oregon over Mich State) and the ACC has three(VT over Ohio State, FSU over Notre Dame and BC over So Cal). None for the Big 10 or Big 12. I remember how some people were crying last week about MSU being ahead of Oregon. Lets use their logic here for a second and ask ourselves why isn't Arizona ahead of Oregon? Apparently head to head is all that matters. Oh, it's because Arizona wasn't even ranked in the preaseason...and this works out in Oregons favor somehow? Never heard of someone losing to an unranked team at home and then jumping up 6 spots from #12 to #6 in 2 weeks time. Impressive!

It will depend on what other teams do. Michigan State or Ohio State could win out and be more deserving. Same with a few Pac 12 teams. Plus a team from the West could finish 11-1, have their loss be to a team as good as FSU, and have much better wins on their résumé.

Lol at thinking Notre Dame still controls their own destiny. They'll need help from other teams to get back in.

Michigan State should 100 percent be ranked ahead of Alabama. Alabama almost lost to Arkansas who hasn't won a conference game in two years. Oregon clearly has the worse loss of the three.

Inb4 "exceptions", sec rosters are filled with these kind of athletes, big 10 pac 12 and ACC teams may have a few but near as many.

YES phaggots I know FSU and Oregon have elite level athletes as well... What I'm saying is that the SEC has 5-6 schools with elite level athletes, while each other conference may have 1-2 teams tops.

LSU may be chitty(Les Miles overrated as hell) but fuark you compare their players to the 6th-7th best team in the ACC or Pac12 it's not even CLOSE.

Michigan St's best win is a squeaker against Nebraska and they got murked by Oregon. They didn't barely lose in the last minute or something...they got blasted.

Oregon clearly has the worse loss of the three.

Inb4 some phag comes in and talks about how "quality loss" isn't a good argument...until they need to use it for their own team.

Go away troll

Nonsense. Best win or worst loss is subjective as hell. The fact that A&M jumped into the top10 after a mediocre victory in the beginning of the year says it all. What is Alabamas best win? West Virginia? Last time I checked Nebraska is ranked higher and deservedly so. Pls go

Yeah, and Nebraska is totally deserving of its higher rank over WVU, I mean, not everyone can beat Northwestern on their home field....

not going to argue with you but why don't you think Nebraskas ranking is worth it? I think they should be ranked higher. I never thought Baylor was that good of a team, I figured K-state was the team to beat in the big12 and I guess they are. I was at the K-state Auburn game ... surprised the FG kicker didnt get lynched after the game.

USC finna sneak into the backdoor of the playoffs. We'll go to Utah and beat them this week, beat UCLA, beat ND, and then take out Oregon in the PAC-12 championship game. Resume would look pretty damn juicy besides the loss to BC early in the season, committee isn't going to keep them out because of a loss to a very good Arizona State team on a hail mary.

Pac-12 Representing.

FSU, USC, Baylor/TCU/Kansas State, SEC Winner in the playoffs

November 29, 2014 could be shaping up to be one of the best CFB saturdays in recent memory.

Auburn and Alabama win out going into the Iron Bowl. MSU and Ole Miss win every game with the exception of Alabama and Auburn respectively. November 29th now has four 1 loss teams playing each other. Not only do you have to win your game, but you're actively pulling for another game with as much interest as your own. Every team needs help getting to Atlanta. The craziest part is, that's not an entirely unrealistic scenario.

Good to see both WVU & Marshall ranked, despite Marshall playing an embarrassingly bad schedule.

The only way I could see USC making it, is if they run the table and win by an average of 50 points every game.... Even then it would only be a 25-30% chance of happening.... I don't see USC scoring 50pts a game, let alone winning by 50.... Also if you guys win out, and ASU wins out, wouldn't it be ASU in the Pac-12 Championship game???
