I did one the past 7 years, and honestly I don't miss it a damn bit except the fun of meeting and drafting w/ other guys.

Not missing the random head 2 head matchups where somebody beats you 150 to 149 , and some other team wins 95 to 85

Not missing the constantly checking of injuries or the Questionables

Not missing stressing over will a mediocre QB on a crap team can throw enough to a badass WR so you can get your points.

I get that it adds some* enjoyment to the gamewatching experience, but man so many ppl just obsessed w/ the stats and numbers now. Just enjoy the freakin game.

Honestly it sounds like you do miss it. You post about it online looking for validation.

I have been doing fantasy for 5 yrs, and this is definitely my last year. I have come to realize that fantasy completely kills the NFL experience for me. I just want to sit down, and enjoy the games.

come on now, you can say that about 80% of theads that are posted.
Just curious if other ppl get burned out on it. Plus it's shoved down our throats on NFL shows/ specials and scrollers at the bottom.

I will admit the NFL is genius the way they've pushed it though. Rating through the roof and they have Gambling and Fantasy to thanks for much of that.

Had done multiple leagues every year since I was 13 (26 now) but for some reason this year I had no motivation/interest in playing FF. Don't miss it either

Stopped 4-5 yrs ago when I found myself saying something like "I want the 49ers to win but I got that receiver on the other team so I hope he gets a couple of TDs". Also, watching games with an iPad, red zone channel - it was just too much. I realized it was basically D&D or Pokemon for bros, and said screw it. No regrets. Nice to just appreciate a game now.

Stopped doing FF couple years ago after doing it for like 10-12 years. Drafting is a lot of fun but it started to get annoying when I had players playing against the Panthers. Would rather just watch games and not just look at fantasy stats. Teams/players can play well and not have big fantasy stats.

It seems like fantasy is a fad now. Everybody and their mom does that chit. Even sloots who's football knowledge doesn't go any further than "omg ****n kaepernick is so hot with all those tattoos"

lol at you phaggots stressing out over fantasy. doesnt ruin the experience for me one bit, but thats because i dont eyeball stats all day and my fantasy teams production will never supersede my allegiance for my team. it probably also helps that seven of my nine starters are Cowboys players and im killing in my league. i still enjoy games as usual.
