Will i gain just for a couple days slightly above maintenance my bmr stats say i should maintain at 2500 lose at 2000 and gain at 3000 so 2800 isnt quite that 3000 threshold but its still above maintenance

No, calories no longer count if it's only for 3 days. Might as well eat 7,000/day for those three.

Is this question even serious ?

If maintenance = 2500 anything above 2500 = gain and anything below 2500 = loss.

Will your scenario make a noticeable difference? Probably not.

is 2800 more than 2500?

Look at trends in the long term in regards to weight lost/gained, not just a couple of days which will drive you nuts.

Its really not that stupid of a question it would be like gaining 2 pounds in a month if i did it everyday so minimal that for three days there would be no weight gain

You couldn't have thought that out before making this, OP?

You would gain about 1/4 pound, + or - a pound. Alternatively you eat at maintenance and then eat a Quarter pounder with cheese

For the unaware, OP is an old troll who hasn't been around lately.
Looks like he took some time off to throw off the scent.

Welcome back OP, did some remodeling on your bridge?

Any mathematicians around? Not my area of expertise...

E=mc^2

Where:
E=Energy, excess
m=mass, lean body
c=speed of overeating

According to my calculations, the OP will be swole.

Do you want to build muscle? What the **** are you on bodybuilding.com if you are afraid to eat and do that?

WTF is wrong with people I swear.

I want to build muscle but not eat. What kind of **** is that?

Eat food and lift. Once you get too fat for your liking then cut. If you do this the right way you will have a new set of muscles to show off and be proud of.

Congratulations, you have just entertained a troll by taking his question seriously.
