There is absolutely NOTHING about me that indicates that I am 50 except the fact that I am 50.

Well today in the mail I just received a f'cking AARP card, holy f'ck I ripped that sh!t up and threw it in the garbage.

Wow just wow, what the f'ck do they just randomly check peoples birthdays???

Jesus f'cking Christ.

LMAO I remember the first time I got a letter from the AARP! I think, come my birthday, I just might be able to get a discount at restaurants! :) Ha ha! Is it 55, or 65? 65 is ok. I won't really mind waiting another ten years if that's the case. I don't eat out all that much anyway.

No way I am using that sh!t regardless of all the discounts it said in the letter.

I am too much of a narcissist to ever use that sh!t period.

I wish they were in front of me so I can punch them in the face!! :D

It won't be the last time, BH. I'm nearing 60 and they continually send me my cards. I have differing reasons than you but I'll never pay them for a membership either. I wish I knew how to get off their mailing list.

Nothing random about it... they have the low down on EVERYONE!!

I wouldn't join that group for love nor money. Bunch of dang liberals. ;)

If my wife sees that I wont hear the end of it, she knows how I feel about old people and how f'cking boring they are...

All she needs to see is that card and she wont let me live it down.

You married? If so I'm betting it's been edited out of the mail, because they get everyone.

The scooter people are the cause of many folks being bed-ridden before their time.

21 years at the end of this month. My wife never received one either. Maybe they found out how conservative we are, lol. :)

They are also pushing for all of the immigrants to get scooters. Just not right.

They won't stop. They will keep sending cards. They are relentless. I don't know how they know, but they know.

Next you'll be getting offers for "Hover-round, Hover-round, Hov, Hov, Hov, Hover-round!"

The AARP are the most virolent supporters of the greatest crime against humanity in our country since 1865; the fact that old people will not abide any change in social security benefits or Medicare benefits, in spite of the fact that those programs will run out of money in 25 years. In essence saying **** you generations x, y, and millennials, I got mine and I ain't sharing.

Bodyhard, if I can find them you'll be the first person I tell.

I think some of you missed my point I don't care about the company itself I just know that AARP is associated with being old. And this boy is far from old .

True story... when we were out of town a friend of ours has a card and he gave it to my husband to use to save on the hotel we were checking into. 25% off. My husband had no shame in flipping that card out! :D

I tried to "stack" an AARP and AAA discount at a hotel. No dice, but they will give the same discount for either AARP or AAA.

Discounts.... hmmm... maybe I will join up for the perks. I used to toss them too, really haven't seen one come to the house this year. My wife did sign us up for them some years ago, think it was for 2 years. I never used it.
