My two boys and I just got in from swimming, so we are tired and hungry. Wife is out of town all week, so we're just hanging out together, cleaning the house top to bottom so she won't have to deal with any of that we she returns home.

Sounds nice.

I'll be doing the same as I do every Friday night: Nuke a frozen TV dinner, watch some television; maybe work on my stamp collection. Then I'll wash up, put on my Spiderman jammies, head to bed and cry myself to sleep.

Val and I will be taking a full moon midnight off leash stroll with the pups; probably take them down to the river. We might hit a move this weekend. Saw the new transformers last weekend.... we both felt it was meh.

Attended Cardic Rehab with my mother this afternoon. She had 2 stents put in on Saturday. Aging parents, Ack!

Had a good training session this morning. Hit squats hard (for me).

Now I'm waiting to donate plasma.

My friend I grew up with was in from California with his 2 girls. Haven't seen him in over 10 years. Had them and my
best friend and family over for a BBQ. I cooked up a feast, we ate like savages and topped it all off with ice cream....mmmmmm ice cream!

Just got off work.

Working at home has its advantages as I had 3 whiskey and waters in the last couple hours.

After that I took a nice walk around what i call the big block. A bit of park, mostly downtown. i dont get out when people are wake much so it was nice to see stores actually open and people walking around. Took whiskey drink with me in coffee cup. Thats the way to go.

Tomorrow morning i will ride my new motorcycle out to Julian. A little village town about 60 miles or so from me. Dont plan on doing much there, probably just use the bathroom, rev the engine and generally be a nuisance with the noise.

Large swing on the way home to Harrahs casino. never been to the one around here. Will probably again rev engine to irritate seniors and grab a bite, gamble a few and head home.

Should be about 150 miles or so round trip.

Getting the butt toughened up for my laughlin trip in sep.

Most likely a Netflix movie night. Just got back from a 7 hour session in the tattoo chair (fortunately only 1 more session and it will be complete) and I'm exhausted.

Studyied Ephesians and researchec the classical Greek use of poemia.

Counted down the hours to my re-feed. Just started the re-feed with a slice of home-made banana nut bread covered in almond butter. I will be enjoying blueberry pancakes, pot workout.

I think that was supposed to be post-workout, but I'm not sure. Maybe it will come back to me after I come down from these peyote buttons.

Wait, was that out loud?

I spent many a day in my youth trying to decipher the writings of Carlos Castenada and his conversations with Don Juan. Talk about psychodelic.

You preaching from the 2nd Chapter of Ephesians tomorrow or preparing for a Bible Study Class?

Have to say the movie was pretty good, well worth going to the movies to see it.

The only change of plan was that we took our granddaughter with us. So we spent a nice evening with our 5 year old granddaughter..

Due to the high quality surround sound my granddaughter kept looking behind us and to the side of us very quickly as she kept thinking there were apes coming from everywhere. It was priceless.

I will be finishing up 1 John by the end of the month (I preach a book at a time, verse-by-verse, expositorilly). I will be picking up Ephesians in August.

You have the right chapter; I am charting and doing my word stidies for Eph. 2.

Gotcha, I'm doing pulpit supply next weekend for a friend of mine's congregation. He uses the Lectionary which I kind of like as it forces you to preach from some bits of scripture you might prefer to avoid. Will be preaching from the 13th Chapter of Matthew.

Spent the night icing my back after tweaking in the gym doing one arm deadlifts. I usually only do SLDL but for some reason thought it would be better to do some conventionals with only one arm available. I lost concentration in my last set and forgot which version I was doing...it didn't end well. Got so perturbed at the neighbors dog non stop barking I called the cops on it but they were too busy to show up in time. Back still sore this morning but it has taken my mind off my shoulder...stay positive right?

We loaded up the trailer and camped at peace island park with some friends. Had some spiced rum Friday night. Got up early Saturday and loaded 2 trucks with 2 canoes and 4 kayaks and drove about an hour to our launch point.

11 hours on the water, 3 coolers full of alcohol, 30 ham and cheese buns, bags of pepperoni and a bunch of trail mix. We landed right at our campsite at 10:00 in the evening. 8 people total in our group and it was a blast but we all got burnt pretty good

Drove to pickup the vehicles this morning then pulled the trailer home and cleaned up. Now just going to chill with Angie and the kids.
