You know, I'm not even mad. If they get Wiggins and add that to LaVine, Dieng, Muhammed, GRIII and Pek you have a good core of young players. I was sort of getting sick of expecting a big improvement every year and beind disappointed, now we can watch some good young talent and not expect a whole lot for a few years.

Assuming they actually get Wiiggins.

I say they just go down the 76ers route... Get a bunch of young talent/draft picks.. Make dieng, shabazz, bennett, wiggins some NBA experience hope rubio can improve jumper maybe make playoffs in 4 years... One can hope

I think the only way you turn a team around like MN (where no FA want to go) is to get a bunch of young talent (like the Clippers, OKC and GS) and build it and hopefully players will want to stay and sign.

I looke at Wiggins+Rubio sort of being like the Garnett+Marbury combo back in the day. Maybe LaVine, Dieng, and Muhammed blow up and now you have a good team that could attract other players.

A long shot but better shot than trying the FA route.

think he meant that it would be easier to re-sign them after their rookie contracts are up b/c they're use to cold weather and wouldn't be little whiners about it like a lot of other players might be

$15.7m comes off the books with Love.
Chances are Barea will be gone. Martin may be gone. Shved may be gone. Mbah a Moute could be gone.

So, $8-$10m or maybe more could come off the books. So, they could be sitting there at around $48-$50 toward the cap after the trades. that would lead them to having ~$15m of cap space.

Wolves have a bright future now (if they trade with the cavs and the players develope). But with the trade, they would be out of the playoffs for 2 more years minimum.

That is what the Cavs want. I'd guess it ends up being something better than that but maybe not including Wiggins.
