It will be interesting to hear what they come out with.

He is the one who is not well, he stayed back at the hotel

I LOVE Floyd, hope they are not jumping the shark with this one though, they are getting up there in years. Gilmour's voice was getting a little tired last time I checked.

How'd that new music idea work out for Van Halen? A few people will buy it and a couple of them will be hard core geezers who'll claim its the best yet when it'll be average at best and forgettable at slightly less than best. Face it, they've changed, you've changed*, if they released The Wall today it would be good but not earth shattering like it was then.

Now maybe if Poison would do a new disk, then we'd have some real music!!

Also, lets be honest a pink floyd van halen comparison is not a good one. Not taking anything away from van halen but 2 completely different styles. Imo pink floyd is a much more timeless sound.
I predict greatness from this

Funny you should say this. Driving down the road the other day my daughter asked about a song on the radio. It was "hey you"

I'm not saying the music won't be good, it just won't have much impact.

Oh, well i did not catch that.
Impact is almost non existant these days. Such is the way of things.

I dunno, how about the new Black Sabbath? I, as a hardcore geezer can honestly say this album blew my mind. New Floyd could be better than ever!

I thought 13 was an amazing release. It very much surprised me as well. Also i caught the tour and it was one of the best shows ive seen . No small statement as i have been to alot of shows in my day.

Shhhhiiiiiit! Im a big Floyd fan and look foward to seeing what they come up with. But I somehow dont think it will have the same appeal as their earlier albums. Most older bands that come out with new music that i've noticed tend to lose something over time. Maybe its that they dont have that connection with eachother from being apart and not playing for so long, idk.

Still, pretty awesome though and hope Im wrong. Glad I stumbled across this old man section of the forum.

Jealous, tried my best to catch the tour, but wasn't in the cards...heard all about it from a co-worker, sounded incredible!
