View Full Version : Good pre workout meal?

I was just wondering if this burrito would be a good pre workout meal, it is:
-1/4 cup of rice
-1/4 cup of pinto beans
-3 ounces of steak
-1 whole wheat tortilla

566 Calories
17 g fat
34 g protein
48 g carbs
2 g sugar
31 g fiber (the tortillas have 26 g of fiber)

Edit: Forgot to mention I am currently bulking

It's meaningless sans the content of total daily nutrition, your personal preference and how you feel after eating such.

If you're hungry before your workout then eat something that you feel will not negatively impact your exercise.

If you're not hungry, simple don't eat before your workout.

It depends, first meal after a fast? how much time between that meal and workout?

Anyway sounds like too much fiber for prewo, can lead towards digestive issues while training

I think it depends on if the beans would give you gas while doing your squats/deadlifts. Otherwise, read what Wonderpug wrote.
