Hey

If someone slowed down their metabolism by cutting calories etc

If that person started to eat normally again would the metabolism
Speed back up or stay slow? Seeing as the metabolism of that person is naturally fast I would assume yes?

Reason I ask is I've always had a very fast metabolism and for the last 5 days I've had a calory deficit about 600 below my normal.

Would my metabolism hve slowed down by now or is too soon? And if I sart eating again normally will it speed back up straight away? (Assuming it did even have time to slow down in the first place in only 5 days)

Thanks for any replies your expert advice is appreciated!

It would take months and months if ever for a 600 calorie deficit to cause a metabolic slowdown.

And yes if it occurred you could restore it by slowly raising your calories. It's called reverse dieting.
