So there is this big advertising blitz here in the DC area to be aware of mental health issues in your friends and family, and to seek out help. After watching this, i now have a better understanding of that homeless guy on the street. Very eye opening for those of us unaware. Check this 5 min

At the end of the day, you'll still be mentally normal and you can turn off the voices. The people who have schizophrenia will have to deal with that **** every day of their lives and not be able to switch things off as they please.

Interesting.

I must be broken because I while I don't "hear" voices, my thought processes can be somewhat similarly "multi tasking" and "distracting" (as well as especially negative during a caloric deficit).

Easy to become caloric-deficient at an abusive inhumane blue collar type job chock full of stone cold bosses.

I have sent this link around to friends and family because to me, it was just that powerful. I know a lot of add adhd folks with cluttered thinking as well as non linear thoughts. To hear "noise" constantly would drive me to a bridge unless i could turn it off.

To each is own i guess
