Yup, not bad trucks at all...had a similar for the last 15 years. Figured I would roll the dice with my first Ram and see what all the hubub is about...

I heard that type of "gear shift" is next to impossible to rock the vehicle if you get stuck in snow or mud.

When you guys drive those things, does the road ask "Are you in yet?"

A recent study concluded that guys who owned candy-red trucks tended to also curl in the squat rack.

and washing your truck... why u do dis? Is it being used to pull floats in an upcoming pride parade? :P

You don't spend 68k on a truck and let the fkn salt of an MN winter eat the thing alive, broseph.

I see, I see.

So it's true that you do your curls in the squat rack.

That's what "4-Low" is for.

Yes, and I never confirmed or denied the Pride parade float. :-)

You know what they say about a guy with a big truck don't you. Although yours isn't really that big.

My company doesn't do it but most of our contract operators have 1 tons with 6-10" lifts and huge tires. We have some nasty mud (clay) around here though.

Nobody buys a 1 ton truck for their daily driver if it ain't a work truck though, brah.

The only thing after market on it are the rims. But the Longhorn package is pretty ridiculous as far as what comes stock. Would never put a lift or bigger tires than now on it, given my short ass has a hard enough time climbing in it already. System is pretty good, saddle leather, etc. Pull boats and tandem trailers with it. Towed my buddy's Mercedes Sprinter (American Pickers van) all the way back from Illinois when his tranny went out....

Guys up here spend a boatload on travel trailers, fifth wheels, and massive boats, so quite a few have 1 tons as their personal drivers. But this is a strange area for rich rednecks with more money than brains

Being 6'2" I'm putting a lift and 33's on Angie's jeep when it gets here. She's 4'11" so I'll put a ladder on it for her lol

Us southern boys have sexy voices, big trucks and know how to entertain women. I also didn't give 70k for a truck that hauls, pulls, and I can't get dirty. But for everyday driving I have a jeep- lol

Make sure you install a slip yolk eliminator or something similar to make sure your drive train stays at the corrects geometry. I put 4" lift with 33" Micky Thompson baja claws on a jeep I built as a summer toy. I thought I could save a few bucks by just running the stock parts and having a steeper angle on the drive shaft. Not good, it would kind of hop around and pulse when taking off. After I installed part to fix the issue it was good to go, miss it, lots of fun in the summer.

That makes no sense why would you want more torque when you have very little traction.

Not a redneck and don't own a truck but if I did this is what I would want:

7007301

Just wondering how the HOA would react to that in my driveway.
