I am currently eaten 2100kcals a day, 35% protein/25% fats/40% carbs.

Is this an ideal breakdown of my macros?
Also what are the differences between using a high fat low carb and high carb low fat diet?

Thank you

instead of using ratios you should calculate your minimum protein and fat requirements

protein ~0.8g /lb
fat ~0.45g /lb
fill other available calories with whatever (normally carbs)

so for 2100kcals @ 157 lbs id recommend 130 protein, 225 carbs, 75 fat

high fat low carb vs low fat high carb is just personal preferance

I read somewhere that since Im cutting I should up protein to like ~1-1.2..but Ill meet halfway and just do 1. And ill keep fats the same. Thank you

Ok well I just read the sticky and it says 1g/lb for adolescents and up it in a caloric deficit. and I want to possibly compete at age 19 so I think I'm fine doing what I want and Im not going to stop dieting and just eat everything and everything because I'm 16...
