Posted this on regular misc and got laughed at. However, I am not wrong, and maybe you guys actually watch sports and can come to REASONABLE conclusions.

Look at his shot chart and field goal percentage.

Weak shot selection but can get HOT and pour in points in a hurry.

Doesn't necessarily look to pass unless faced with a double team.

Harassing defense when he turns it on, maybe plays harder on defense for more of the game than Kobe.

Kobe is much better at running an offense and finding his own looks, but George can mature.

A rare talent that can either rise to the top of the league and be a perennial all star and MVP conversation piece, or fizzle into a Vince Carter esque shell of a player, tossing up 3's without regard for shot clock or ball movement.

I am not saying he will enjoy the success Kobe has had as far as winning goes (team sport even though casual fans measure rings as greatness) but he is the closest emulation to younger Kobe in today's NBA.

From a guy that laughs at Kobe's 3 career 2nd round exits as the leader of a team, Paul George does not have what it takes.

Yes and nice job inadvertently revealing you had not gotten laid yet at age 19.

0 finals appearances for Paul George in a weak eastern conference, almost gets eliminated in the first round by the Atlanta Hawks without their best player, about to get knocked out of the playoffs by the same team for the third consecutive year. Comparing Paul George to Kobe Bryant.. lmao.. stop watching basketball and stop posting.

Paul George needs to stop making those stupid faces after he sinks shots. He's worse than Westbrook. At least Westbrook is consistently good.

Doesn't have Kobes footwork, doesn't have his post-up, can't create his own shots as effectively as Kobe.

Prime Kobe used to be unguardable even if you double teamed him an entire game. I like PG, but he has a long way to go. He shouldn't become Kobe, he should become the best he can at what he does and add a few pieces from other great players. Like Kobe stealing the best moves from Jordan and newer players stealing from Kobe, its part of the game and how it evolves.

OP exposing himself as biggest dumbass on the misc

Even the Kobe haters would call this comparison laughable.

He had a great game 5, stop jumping the gun and calm down you little bish

Datgamerace

He's more like a Tracy McGrady, but lets not act like Lebron wasn't in foul trouble the entire game and had to restrain from what he normally does so he doesn't foul out.

Wot? PG has been playing very well for a majority of the playoffs.

And OP that's a dumbass statement. These comparisons came rolling in at the beginning of the season and then George ended up becoming an inefficient chucker. He went two fukin months without shooting 50% IIRC.

lol as if he could emulate Kobe's, MJ's, or Hakeem's footwork.

Kobe was and is a much superior offensive player. PG is a better defender. I could see PG being a contender if he improves ball handling and passing.
