Used to be one of the most dominant pitchers in the league, but last year he wasn't good and this year he's been pretty chitty. Haven't watched him pitch in a while, any Giants fans know what's going on?

His fly ball to HR ratio has finally corrected itself.

the only real significant changes in his peripherals is that hes giving up a lot more HR's per flyball and not doing as good of job of pitching out of jams

His fly ball to HR ratio has finally corrected itself.

The past 5 years (excluding 2011) he has given up a consistent amount of homers, but only last year his ERA was high.

I said HR/FB ratio, not total HRs. There's a difference.

nope, he has always been under 8.4 percent, last year it jumped up to 10.8 and its even higher so far this season

it might not sound like much but it is

Ah, makes sense. His WHIP last year seemed too low for his ERA but the homers could have been the difference. Same with this year

That much in just a year or 2? Is he hurt, because he's still not even 30

Well he did cut his finger making a triangle sandwiches so there's that.

He had a decent night tonight- 7 or so innings and 4 earned. Not amazing but not terrible either.
