He is one of the greats. Top 5 easily currently, probably top 3 by the end of his career.

However he isn't an aesthetic player, his play isn't stylish like Kobe and Jordans.

His dunks are stock standard, powerful effective...but not really stylish.

His jumper is nice, but not sweet.

He is power, efficient, dominating...but not pretty.

I think you can name 10 dunkers currently in the NBA who are more stylish, think DeAndre, Blake, Lillard, Bogoat..the list goes on.

Great player, but not a pretty player.

It has more to do with the standards he sets for himself, the excuses he constantly makes (shirt too tight, tired, etc..) and his frequent flopping and whining.

OP is actually correct for once. LeBron fans watch a lot of basketball, so they understand the nuance of the game and how LeBron affects the part of the game that doesn't show up on the stat sheet; while stans of other players tend to watch more ESPN and highlights where aesthetic play styles are rewarded.
