logitech smart remote?

i have one and its been pretty great. the only thing it doesn't control is my PC itself, which i have a wireless touchpad keyboard for. maybe research your particular items but those smart remotes work with damn near everything, including the xbox 360 and probably the 1 too, i haven't tried to hook that up to it yet.

some of them have input limits though, i think mine only supports up to 5 or 7 things at once.

i have this one, theres much nicer ones if you're willing to spend the money.

this one works with up to 15 devices, expensive though. you could walk through your whole house though and control everything with it.

its not the remotes itself but more the ability to repeat the OR signal from one room to the other...

i'm lost

bedroom gets one feed from living room...
living room gets one feed...

i need to send the IR signals for turning the TV, AV, Blu Ray, Satellite on as this can't be done with the iPad... everything else can be done...

i will use the original remotes in the bedroom to send the signal...

review of the monoprice

I have a TV in garage located about 200' away from satellite box in my house which had cable buried in the ground for connectivity. The IR quit functioning and everything we tried did not work. I saw this as an alternative to my IR problem. This works so great! It is a low cost solution and the system does not have any lag time reacting to changing channels, actually better then the old remote IR. This signal has to pass through my garage door, and then through the outside walls and an inner wall where TV is located. I was really surprised that it worked so well after reading some of the reviews. It was simple to install, very simple! Have been using it for a month before writing up a review to make sure no problems are incurred. Saved me tons of money not having to call in the techies to fix my problem!
