A little while ago I went to a Beatles cover band at a local venue that serves alcohol. When they played this song everybody was singing along. I thought it sounded pretty good but I'm betting we sounded more like this guy

It's amazing, if you get enough lousy singers, people who couldn't carry a tune to save their life, singing together it always balances out and sounds good!

You know, I've heard a lot of drunk Mexicans sing in my lifetime, but I've never heard one sing 'Hey Jude.' It was always something a little more traditional. :)

Spanish, English, Spanglish, it doesn't really matter, especially if it was your last stop, short on money, drunk and waking up on the street the next day. I've been there and wouldn't trade a minute of my life for those experiences.

Ha ha! Brother, I know that feeling. I've sang in cantinas all over Mexico. You go in...don't know a soul, after about 3 or 4 hours of tequila, singing 'boleros,' everybody there is your best friend! :) I've sang on the plaza in Garibaldi, Mexico D.F. at two in the morning, in a drizzling rain, tipsy as could be. The old man playing the guitar knew every song you could name. 5 pesos each! :) Wonderful memories. Some of the best times in my entire life. I agree...I wouldn't trade a minute of my life for those experiences!

Even if it meant sleeping in front of the pharmacy until it opened, so we could buy some penicillin. :)
