Any brahs remember this game? Had it for Gamecube, one of my favourite game experiences ever.

brb highly replayable story, co-op or singleplayer
brb play through the story to unlock game modes, weapons and characters for multiplayer
brb my favourite splitscreen multiplayer
brb awesome soundtrack
brb endless replayability in multiplayer, can customise everything about your game
brb map maker

brb BRB

Why can't there be a shooter like this again.. so many hours were spent playing this game with my brother and cousins, any word on a new one?

I always chose the monkey character cos he was so short and hard to hit LOL, if an arcade shooter like this was released today I would buy straight away.

Awesome game, multiplayer was sick.

Liked how the single player levels actually evolved as you went up in difficulty, rather than just being the same level but harder.

That was really cool, the higher the difficulty the more objectives you had to complete. You could also find old arcade games in the singleplayer, I remember playing a level and finding a snake game and spending like an hour playing it

Yeah, the snake cartridge was somewhere in the ice base level IIRC, maybe after you've come up from the bit where you have to turn the steam pipes down, before you meet the first sentry guns?

I actually can't remember exactly where, been so long since I've played it.

I loved that one too, so many innovative game modes in that game. 128 characters, 16 maps, 16 game modes.Able to choose whatever weapons you want on the map and what music played. So good.

You can just play against bots, but if you play with some people splitscreen with bots aswell it's ridicolously fun. Best part of the game

You missed out on one of the most fun multiplayer arcade shooters of the last few years, probably won't be a shooter again like it

Thank you for a timesplitters thread. I own all three and (except for the first one, sucks balls) TS 2 and 3 are the best shooters i've ever played, no questions. The co-op story is probably the most fun co-op of any shooting game ever. The difficulty was relentless in TS2, not as bad in TS3 but I did like how TS 3 was a little more fleshed out, and had a memorable story.

The arcade multiplayer was just incredible, so many weapons and characters...not to mention BUILDING YOUR OWN LEVELS. So epic. I don't understand why this wasn't bigger than halo, seriously halo is nothing compared to timesplitters 2 and 3.

Only played TS2, funnily enough i've never actually seen TS3 in stores. Yup, halo doesn't compare to this. I don't understand why they don't make another one? Clearly enough money to be made, hell I'd just buy a remake of TS2.

The mission in TS2 where you had to follow someone forever and not get seen. That game had the absolute best co-op ever.

And multiplayer putting the bots on super difficult mode and trying to hold down a fort. Them feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels

Wish I could go back in time and relive play this game with the homies

I think the best thing about it was the variety of things you could customize, you were always finding new and funner ways to play.

Hnnnnnng, loved that campaign. I know that feel, you could choose the bots so we always picked tons of robots or zombies like it was the apocalypse lol. Nothing today can hold a candle to this, old school goodness

What difficulty? You could always have gone with easy to learn the levels, which is cake. Half the fun is experiencing all the different time periods. The game was brutal on hard though.

Game was lulzy and fun! played on xbox live, also had map creation before the Halo "forge". I remember the extreme character models etc, hit detection and strategic gamplay was kinda meh but wow what a title!

Exactly, fun as hell, you didn't have to put too much thought into strategies/tactics, just fire up a game and play whatever way you want... i'll be honest, i didn't discover the map creation for soooo long

The whole randomness to it was the only turn off for me. Can't fight clean and strategic like Halo or Cod. Basically all close quarters spam fest with OP weapons. The online support was non existent as well. Too bad...

TS2 and Future Perfect were GOAT. So many hours well spent.

I made this hilarious map in the map maker where it was just two buildings face to face, one for red and one for blue, and we'd just have explosives that we'd chuck over to the other side non-stop on each of the floors.

The characters were so funny and memorable, everything about it was great. Anybody remember this sloot?

Everytime I watch "Shaun of the dead" I get the time splitters nostalgia.

Must be an age thing. I was using my credit card for xboxlive while you were coloring the pictures on the back of your cheerios box.
Splitscreen loses soooo much fps and field of view. Also you can see what your enemies are doing...
