Full size pick ups here. Both personal and work vehicles are ford f-250 super dutys. Most peoples everyday vehicles where I live are either pick ups or SUV. Cars are almost always secondary here. Ang is looking at getting an older jeep and getting rid of her car, she drives my truck 90% of the time anyways.

I had a Pinto... lots of memories, especially the time me and my buddy woke up late at night (early morning) buried in a snow bank. Had to open the windows and dig ourselves out. Hope you got the Gas Tank Mod!

A 1.0 (I think) VW Polo hire car. It's hard to buy cars as an non-South African here, loads of admin to go through. I only drive 4 miles to the gym and 2 more miles to work. Once I can get the permit sorted, I'll buy a small hatchback.

Been looking at 2013/2014 F150's for a couple weeks, can get a nicely equipped one with low mileage for $27-31K, will have one before summer is over. Want a Raptor but those damn things don't seem to lose any value and i'm not shelling out $50K+ for a damn truck no matter how sweet it is.

In the meantime still have the Mustang to play with, just got new rims for it yesterday.

It mainly comes down to mileage and options, I want low mileage and all the creature comforts, getting old has it's side affects and one being I refuse to drive a vehicle without all the bells and whistles.

I drive a company supplied 2012 GMC Sierra extended cab.

The wife has a choice between a 2008 Honda Odyssey or a 2014 Toyota Corolla.

Been thinking of trading the two vehicles for an upgraded one, maybe a Toyoto RAV4 or Highlander. Depends on the deal we can swing.

Thanks. I wanted a Raptor too but damn those things are pricey. Not that my Wrangler was cheap but I just couldnt justify the Raptor.

If you thi k the vet gets them wet wait till you ride uptown in a yugo jamming to rock me Amadeus. They flock to you. it's crazy.

This is a thinly, grossly, veiled thread. I love the ending to it ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

But wait, since I'm already here...I drive:

Hennessey Venom GT (270 mph) ...
Bugatti Chiron (261+ mph) ...
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (268 mph) ...
SSC Ultimate Aero (256 mph) ...
Koenigsegg CCR (242 mph) ...
McLaren F1 (241 mph) ...
Aston Martin One-77 (220 mph) ...
Jaguar XJ220 (217 mph)

We good?

My '04 wrangler broke 80mph once.

And I don't gotta have my radio playing "rock me ammadaus" to have company want to join me for a ride.

Current DD is a nice little hot hatch with enough zip to not feel like a dog: '13 vw golf. Gets around town and does what I need it to do.

Thank you! It is on the right side (!) for the UK, otherwise overtaking would be a little tricky...

Yes, they should be producing new cars from next year, deposits already taken. Wouldn't swap mine for anything, though...

Even better now that I lost a ton of weight, better performance! lol

Ok, I'll play:

1. 2000 Honda Accord LX 2.3L, 5spd, w/leather pkg...and badly peeling top coat :). I won't bore you with a pic of one of the most common cars in the world. Best car I've ever owned, as far as reliability, maint., etc... In fact, I have no plans to sell it, but rather, will restore it...which I've already started. Only 175K mi on it.

2. 2013 Huyndai Genesis Coupe. My own boss and crew prodded me into buying something "newer", lol. I'm a cheap bastard, but I succumbed to their taunting me. The pics are phone pics that I took, just to show a pal in Boston what the model was, so...sorry for the quality.

It's a fun car to drive. True sport suspension and handling. Very tight. It's only the 2.0L Turbo, which they stopped making, but it's 274HP along with similar torque, makes it very fun to drive aggressively (RWD, too). The only models they make now are 346hp, but that's overkill for me these days. Hell, I can't even enjoy what this car can do in today's environment. Truth Be told? I wish I had...and now plan to...trade this in for a more "me", boring car....like the 2013 Honda Accord that my oldest son drives. And yes, I'm serious. I'll do it in the next year or so.
