Hey guys, I have 2 questions:

1) I'm starting to deadlift and was wondering how often per week I should do it?

2) I want to start benchpressing but I don't have a spotter, and so was considering a power rack but they're crazy expensive. Is there a safe alternative?

Wrong section but

1. Depends on intensity and/or volume and where you are in your particular training cycle. You can do it twice per week if you want to get good at it fast, just don't go to failure and work on form.

2. Don't lift so much that you need a spotter/don't train until failure.

I meant to post this into "Exercises" not sure why it ended up in Nutrition. Perhaps a mod can move it?
