View Full Version : Refeed advice

I'm a 5'8" female who weighs between 133-134lbs and is 6 weeks and 3 days out from my first figure competition. I've been dieting for my show for the past 9 weeks (lost 8.4lbs so far). Throughout my prep, my coach has kept my carbs pretty high (last week they were 230-240, starting today they will be 210-220) with 2051-2068 calories. My maintenance is about 2500.
Here's my dilemma, he told me I should do a refeed, but then didn't give me any numbers. Also, with my carbs so high, I'm wondering if eating above maintenance and upping my carbs for a day will have any positive benefit, or if it will just set me back by reducing my week's deficit?
Any advice is welcome, will rep as many as I can.
