I don't know what wizardry he has, but this dude must've seen all these upsets coming somehow and knew his money was safe. Seriously, are there any perfect brackets left?

Plenty of people have had perfect brackets past the first and second round each. I had a perfect bracket throughout the whole thing in 2005 (srs).

The most optimistic odds of winning are pretty much around 1 in 350 billion.

i thought the odds of a perfect bracket were in the quintillions lol

edit: "Odds of picking a perfect bracket are 1-in-9.2 quintillion (or 9.2 billion multiplied 1 billion times)."

Lol smoke signals.

Should have just slipped your bracket into a bottle and tossed it out to sea. I'm sure it would have reached his yacht by now.

if he wins ill be fully convinced that time travel has become possible due to the amount of people who started researching it the day this challenge was announced

ive had a perfect bracket every time i filled one out so it was 2006-2008 and then from 2010 till last year.

this year the Warren Buffet teamed up with the FBI and somehow made my schedule too busy to fill out a bracket knowing that i'd have a perfect one. I didn't even realize what they did till just a few hours ago.

gosh it sucks guys

It's really a waste of time filling one out.

TheFourthPooper

I could have had a perfect bracket if I wanted one. Didn't feel like having a perfect one this year though. The past few years though all my brackets have been perfect. But I make my brackets at the start of each season. I predict who will qualify for the tournament and what the seeding will look like. After that I predict the outcomes.

Yes, if all games were a 50/50 toss up those would be the odds

but every team does not have a 50% chance of winning every game, when you factor odds into it, the chances are 1 in 128 billion

For example, no 16 seed has ever won a game. You can mark the 1 seed advancing past the first game automatically. That increases the odds because you're basically guaranteed to get those picks right. Same goes for 2's over 15's and so on, you factor in the odds to get a more accurate representation of the chances of a perfect bracket.

wizardry? it is about double the odds of winning the mega millions. that was pretty much massive free marketing to everybody who filled out a bracket at quicken loans. that is just common sense.

Those are the odds assuming that every game is a 50-50 chance. If you include the fact that some teams are much more likely to win than other,s the odds are "Only" 1 in a couple hundred billion.

Lol at all these frauds.

I'm on record as the only person to ever have a perfect bracket. Won $100 if my office pool. Donated the money to a food bank. Dead srs. I have it framed on my wall.

I'll take a spoon pic. Brb

ArthurAardvark

the quintillion number is actually skewed because it assumes all games require 0 knowledge and that anyone has an equal chance of winning.

this mathematician said it was really more like 1 in 120 billion or something like that with some basketball knowledge

that said, it still isn't even worth your time unless you were gonna fill one out anyways.

that said, can't believe that brah i posted got all 32 games right in the first round. that's the hardest part. if he gets this next round completely right, it'll be interdasting indeed.

could you imagine getting a perfect bracket and not entering it? i think i would go mentally insane eventually (dead srs)

they prolly would still give him something tho to be good sports
