I recently went from 297 to 170lbs with cardio and diet restriction. I just recently started lifting and resistance training to build muscle, just hoping I can tone up and wont need surgery to remove loose skin. Thanks in advance for the help. Also I'm eating clean and trying to do a clean bulk of 250 calories over maintenance.

Can it be repaired by anything other then surgery to remove it? I sure hope so because I want to do it as natural as possible. If I put on muscle will it fill out and go back to normal or am I doomed? Also I read if you can pinch it and its more than a 1/4 inch its fat is that true?

If you stay relatively lean for 2-3 years you will likely see a fair bit of improvement.

I recently read a motivational article on here from a guy who was around 310lbs and got down to 170 and he said he struggled with loose skin but sticking to his diet strictly and continuing his routines eventually tightened the skin. I'm sure bulking helped him do that which you should also look into but just stay strict on that diet and it will eventually work out I'm sure. I'm not certified in anything though just going off of the testimonial.

Thanks guys.

Blue, Yeah I just started lifting and a clean bulk of 250-300 calories over maintenance so hopefully that helps.
Vismal, sounds good after losing all that weight I'm in it for the long haul. If it takes a few years so be it.
