I barely ever watch the Timberwolves and when I do it's mostly to see the Great White Hope, but is Rubio real life?

I randomly went to look at his stats and his FG % over his first 3 seasons is:

35.7
36
36.9

At least his shooting % has improved every year so he's like a small Spanish PG version of LeBron in that sense.

Look at this sh!t- people play 10 feet off of this kunt and he spends 10 seconds per play gathering up the courage to shoot and then he bricks it.

At least he knows his limitations and ability, I respect that.

Kobe thinks it's still a good shot for him when three guys are in his face on a 20 foot, turnaround, fade away jumper.

Here are statistically speaking, the absolute worst scoring seasons of all time. Rubio doesn't show up since he doesn't shoot nearly enough to hurt his team. Westbrick makes 2 appearances though.

If you want I can check where he ranks outside the top 100 or where he ranks in terms of career totals.

EDIT: Just checked, none of Rubio's seasons show up in the bottom 1300 ever (out of 18000 player seasons). Dude sucks balls at scoring but he doesn't hurt his team much since he doesn't shoot much.

Also fun fact, Antonie Walker is the 3rd worst scorer all time career wise, and AI is 118th worst. Kareem is the GOAT and it's not even close. This is out of all 3819 NBA player to ever play (prior to this season).

What do you mean I did that earlier today.

Yes.

His shot has 0 arc and for some reason he still hasn't gotten with a shooting coach.

If he could learn to shoot, he could be deadly. Flop Griffin managed to figure it out, I don't see why Bricky Rubio couldn't.

His shooting lately has been a lot better. His last 14 games:
'
48.1% FG%
.417 3ptFG%
.840 FT%
.611 TS%
.513 eFG%

Tonight he became only the 3rd player in the last 7 years to put up 20-15-10-5 so hopefully he builds on that. He needs to finish at the rim more consistently like he did tonight.

Daequan Cook. Idk how he was even in the NBA. I cringed every time I saw him on the floor/taking a shot. Last season with Chicago, 27.8 FG%, 24.6% from 3, 31.9% from 2.

I can compare Rubio to whoever I want, phaggot. That's the beauty of this country.

Now go back to jacking off all over your #8 throwback jersey, pussy.

Yes, he does look very bad shooting the ball at times, but Jason Kidd also couldn't shoot worth anything for most of his career and he did ok.

A point guard really doesn't need to score more than 10-14ppg if he can get 10 plus assists. I'd much rather have a pass first point guard like Rubio than a chucker point guard like Lillard. Why have a point guard who shoots, when you have a shooting guard for that purpose? The point guard should pass the ball.

Rubio will never be a great shooter but he shoots in 80%+ from FT and most players that do that are able to shoot decent from the field eventually. He is still young, only 23, so he can still develop as a shooter. However, he brings a lot to the team from the defensive side and running the offense so the shooting doesn't matter as much as it would otherwise. I think over the next couple of years he will start to shoot well enough to be more of an offensive threats. He has shot much better as the season has gone on.

He can still have a good career. Jason Kidd didn't fix his jumper until the end of his career with the Mavericks.

im a twolves fan and I think we can both agree that if he was even an average scorer we'd be fighting for that 8th seed right now.

If he shot anywhere near as good as he has the second half of the season they would be in the 7th or 8th spot instead of no chance of making it. I guy like Rubio that can make defenders have to defend his jumper would make for more open shots for Martin and overall less clogged lane for the bigs.

Poor Man's Rondo. Before it looked like his problem was his outside shooting, now it turns out he can't make a shot from anywhere but the FT line. Hopefully he can get it together or he's gonna be a career backup/starter for a terrible team. :(
