I'm hoping the niners pull the trigger on that one. We'll have like three 3rd rounders.

yikes, roughly $35 million in cap hits over 3 years remaining for Jackson. $12.7m in 2014, $12m in 2015, $10.5m in 2016.

Even with that crazy money, god I'd fap at the idea of DeSean stretching the field for Cam. He'd mesh well with this team & Cam, too...

Yup. Most I'd be willing to part with would be a 3rd round pick. I'd throw a 2nd in if that contract wasn't so bloated.

Would be incredibly stupid for the Eagles to get rid of him. What if Maclin doesn't look good? We don't know how he's going to be after his injury.

This.

Eagles are doing themselves a big disservice by trying to trade him.

He's all the difference between the Eagles making the playoffs or not.

49ers should make the trade for Desean Jackson and try to restructure his deal- he'd give the 49ers the missing piece to their super puzzle a deep threat who can take the top off the defense. Dude's a local product out of Cal too.

No team is gonna take dat ridiculous contract, even for a 3rd(Unless maybe he agrees to restructure his deal). DeSean is nice, but he isn't top dollar

Panthers need him more than anybody in the league.

Yeah, but the Panthers have no shot at getting him. Their gonna be cap strapped for da next 2 years

They need to cut clary or he needs to take a paycut. Wish we could restructure gates' and weddle's contracts to have enough space to sign desean.

03-18-2014, 08:32 PM
lol how would the Pats/9ers/Panthers afford him?

Pats still could if they moved wilfork I guess, I dunno how the panthers would do it, theyd have to figure something out BIG TIME with Hardy. 9ers would have to cut Gore and then some.

Don't see it happening.

He's the speed weapon the Packers need.

Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Desean Jackson

doubt TT would over do it... Packers have their 3rd and are getting a compensation 3rd.

I disagree. Packers don't need him. I wouldn't trade a 3rd for him if he was a $7m cap hit the next 3 years.

If he was a free agent today, he wouldn't get a contract like that. No way a team would start throwing in draft picks on top of that.
