Everyone keeps saying this **** but I've yet to see any numbers to back it up. Breaking even in jersey sales for the the season doesn't mean it was a good move.

The Lakers are going to bank whether Kobe is the #1 jersey in the country or not, all this does is keep them from building a good team.
