View Full Version : Looking for advice, smarties candy after workout

I am following jim stoppani's nutrition advice and having a 50g protein shake plus 4 rolls of smarties candies after each workout. The candy is made from dextrose and is 24g of carbs from the 4 rolls. Oppinions/advice on this please??? Jim recommends gummy bears for glucose, I read a lot about dextrose so I went with that.


And I am carb cycling...
6 days a week I am getting...
Protein: 259.5
Carbs: 88.2
Calories: 2378
Total Fat: 88.6
Sat Fat: 17.8
Poly Fat: 29.3
Mono Fat: 24.7

1 day a week (high carb day) I am getting...
Protein: 255.55
Carbs: 333.7
Calories: 3357
Total Fat: 87.2
Sat Fat: 17.2
Poly Fat: 29.55
Mono Fat: 23.45

I weigh 165-170 and workout every day for about a hour. RMR is around 1850, I burn around 500 calories a day in the gym I think

Oppinions and advice on how I am eating please?

Don't become a victim. Learn the basics about nutrition by reading the relevant stickies at the top of the nutrition forum.

You are being misled by The King Of The Bros. Stoppani's nutrition advices are pretty much a bunch of nonsense.
