Hello,

I am training for my first half marathon. I am looking for advice as to how many calories I should be consuming to lose 2 pounds per week. Im 6'3 and have a bmr between 2200 and 2300 calories. Ive seen people advocate 12 calories per pound to lose weight. Does that factor in exercise or should you add that onto it? Im going to average 25 miles per week the next 3 weeks and then add more miles on for the following 8 leading up to race day. I also have a fairly active job where I'm on my feet all day and average 5-7 miles walked. Any advice will help. Thanks!

apply and activity factor to your TDEE and subtract 10-20% and monitor scale.
