Melo is looking for a ring and Durant is hungry. Can thunder let that injury prone loser in chuckbrook go and sign melo? Would this even work these two together?

Durant would work with anybody and Melo has always played well next to other great players.

Lol at Lala choosing Oklahoma City. Just as likely as her telling melo to go to Cleveland or Detroit

Nope. Two volume shooters always have trouble being together. Someone's feelings always get hurt, and it hurts chemistry. Durant could use a pass first PG like rondo. Celtics could straight up swap westbrook for rondo and it could tremendously help OKC. If westbrook can learn to take a backseat they'll be alright though, even though i still think he's the alpha dog in crunch time.

Honestly this is one of the best choices for Melo and the Bulls if it goes down. Carmelo's already an average defender at best and of course he's one of the if not the best pure scorer in the league. Thibs being the defensive mastermind he is can get Carmelo to improve his D as per the Bulls' identity if anyone can. But aside from that not for nothing but the one thing the Bulls tend to struggle with is finding offense at times (sans D Rose). Bringing in a guy like Carmelo can help with that while also taking scoring responsibilities and pressure off D Rose when he comes back (letting D Rose get more facilitating going on and hopefully putting a little less stress on his knees and need to explode to the damn basket all the time).

Idk seems like it could work well.

EDIT:

To touch on OP's question though, I don't think it's impossible but I do think that they'd definetely have to key in on how they'd make it work. I think the possibility for it to work is there.

Durant is one of the few stars that doesn't need the ball in his hands all game to be successful.

He's would fit well with majority of players..

however how are they flooring it? one of them at the 2 or 4? Don't think either should be a full time gig.

Don't think Melo could work well with KD seeing as Melo will be working with D. Rose

Injury prone? Until Patrick Beverly happened he had the longest streak in the nba and had never missed a game from high school up.

KD is a really good defender and Carmelo is actually a good defender at the 4. Somebody posted a link some time ago that Melo is near the bottom of the league when defending 3s, but he's like 12th in the league guarding 4s.

I think Durant and Melo would work better than Durant and Westbrook...

Melo could easily be a better 4 than a 3, think he has said he doesn't like to play there though. Durant could probably play with anyone but would never happen.
