When you see a guy raise his hand, it generally means that he fouled a guy and is owning up to it. So yes, there are players who agree with foul calls.

OP you might be getting "being frustrated by fouling" and "complaining" confused and/or mixed together.

That's not necessarily true, in HS it didn't mean we thought it was a legit foul, it was to signal the coaches who it got called on, and to let them know how many you have.

Players also try to do that to get the refs to call the foul on them, and not the guy who the foul actually was on. works sometimes

yeah if you have one foul and are in the mix and the other guy has 3-4 its worth the attempt
