First of all, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were not ready to develop a franchise QB. They are on their 4th head coach in 7 seasons. Their average defense rank from 2009-2012 was #26, they spent $167M on offensive line that played 2 games together and used a #2, #2, #2, #3, #4, #4, #5 and #5 on Kellen Winslow, Arrelious Benn and Luke Stocker, Myron Lewis and DaQuan Bowers. From 2009-2013 the Bucs were 4-17 (.190) when Freeman was not the starter. It was impossible for any QB to succeed under these conditions, but Freeman still had stretches of elite play.

Team 1
Cincinnati Bengals- Have everything except a QB. Freeman is the kind of player Mike Brown brings in. Match out of 10. 10/10

Team 2
St. Louis Rams- Team is loaded except at QB. Bradford is overpaid and always hurt. 9.3434/10

Team 3
New York Jets- That defense. Team would be joocy if they signed Freeman, Graham and Maclin. 9.233434/10

He overachieved with us definitely. Id love to see him recover and get back to his fat free days.

The thing is it sounds like he's suffering from depression which is affecting his work ethic

Id love to see him reunite with Olson in Oakland

He needs to go to a legit coach.

I seriously hope OP is trolling. This guy is done, if he even ends up a decent backup I'd be surprised. Rumored drug problem, dropping lots of weight, looking absolutely terrible in Minny.

Just no.

Rams are loaded? LMFAO

In Tampa he had Martin, Jackson, Williams and a good O-line, Cam would kill for weapons. Freeman is trash

he's an upgrade for NYJ

Dalton and Bradford are both just as good if not better than him.

And they had a top 10 offense in 2012. #32 pass defense was why they were 7-9 instead of the #1 seed.

You want to talk about Cam? Panthers had the #26 offense and #2 defense. Best defense Freeman ever played with was #17, and they went 10-6 that year.

Panthers had a top 5 offense in 2011 after have the 32nd ranked offense in 2010. What does that have to do with Freeman being garbage?

Switch Cam for Freeman and the Bucs would of been playoff team EASILY, talent wise Bucs had more than any team in the NFC south last season.

Johnson has had 2 borderline elite WR's and an Elite running game and is still garbage.
He sucks.

But who was Johnson?
2012 Bucs had #9 offense and #29 defense. If they just had an average defense they would have been #1 seed. Now Cam, Kaep and Wilson are gods because thay have dat D

Incorrect.

Freeman is done. Look at the job Mike Glennon did in his absence.

You really think Freeman could do better than Smith on the Jets Offense? Not a chance. Smith's last 4 games weren't terrible and that offense is horrendous.

Smith > Freeman without question at this stage. This isn't 2012 and Freeman isn't who he used to be. Stop living in the past.

Stop with your retarded fukking stats, they mean almost nothing. Clearly you don't watch any football.

Josh Freeman 2013 QBR 18.9
Quarterback rating 52.6

Mike Glennon
QBR 45.6
QB rating 83.9

thats a terrible correlation. the bucs were playing with nothing to lose, obviously glennon had inflated numbers.

there is a miscer who works as some kind of bouncer in vegas clubs and he has seen Freeman do a chit ton of coke in the club and order 40+ jaegger bombs.

I would take him in Oakland. Olsen was his OC when he played good in TB and he is now the OC in Oakland. Could be a good match.
