Cam in front of Brees is the only thing i disagree with

As a Chicago resident who wasn't much of a Bears fan, he definitely contributed to that, he sucked.

I couldn't see the list since I was on my phone, but what was consistency in rankings? So he apparently is ranking 2013 in a vacuum right? How in the hell is RGKnee and Eli Manning above Josh McCown?

But who was Brian Hoyer?

Matt McGloin had second-best year among rookie QBs, would've been in talk for ROTY right along Mike Glennon if he had started more games.

Angelo ranked him behind Weeden, Gabbert, Ponder, Manuel, and Smith. da fuk.

must be from a gm perspective (meaning they are looking into the future, money they bring in etc)

i have a hard time believing anyone would put scam newton in front of romo in terms of being a qb

Former GM Jerry Angelo

ehhh he still had some success with the Bears. he's by no means a potato-quality GM.. just average I'd say(averaged just under 9 wins a season over 1 years, made playoffs 4-5 times and built a SB, albeit losing, team).

that said, the fact he was the former Bears GM makes me quite hesitant to listen to anything he says regarding quarterbacks, lol.

Cam isn't quite ready to be vaulted into the top 5, tho. I think he will make that leap into the 2nd tier this coming season though when he finally gets some help(without question the worst supporting cast on offense of all the young quarterbacks).

i've never seen a QB be more scrutinized then Nick Foles

brb "he doesn't fit chip kelly's system"

brb after 3 games including a 7 TD performance "he's the next kevin kolb or matt flynn"

brb after 5 games and on a roll "he's the next RG3"

brb after 8 games and a top 3 season in terms of QB rating "need to see him repeat his success next year when teams see tape of him"

brb people still put guys like cam and luck ahead of him even though foles is more accurate, better decision maker, and was better in the playoffs then either of them.

brb cam potato throws 2 picks in the playoffs in 1 game, brb luck throws 7 picks in 2 games, brb nick foles gives his team the lead late and doesnt get the ball back because the defense ****s up yet again

I'll just leave this here. (keep in mind this is from 2011, his draft record looks even worse when looking at it two years removed from when this article was written.)

I'm eager to hear more from my main man JA!

lmfao at Nick Foles rated an 8.0 on the tier of "Not the reason for his team success"

If Foles wasn't the Eagles starting QB they would have never made the playoffs...and yes i'm fully aware Lesean Mccoy was on this team.

Nick Foles should be number 1. Who cares about the rest?

I like Cam but to say he led the charge in them winning the division is BS. They had the #2 defense and #26 offense. In that Week 16 game vs New Orleans he had 187 total yards, 1 TD, 1 INT and Carolina had 10 first downs.

100% this. The man wrecked the Bears because he couldn't evaluate talent.

Ouch at Jimmy Clausen being the bottom of the barrel, this kid was highly touted in high school and Notre Dame heavily recruited him, and he was a star in College now he is the worst of the worst.

Same for Notre Dames Brady Quinn dude is in the bottom he was actually supposed to excel in the NFL many analysts said he would thrive and he was drafted in the first round too. Another ND bust QB.

this phaggot really has Palmer, Schaub, Cutler, Bradford ahead of Tannehill?

brb lost two starting lineman(one of which being pro bowl caliber), had a garbage OC, no big target, no running game.

Exactly.

These are the same things that people were saying about Kaep last season iirc

difference is kaep did not have as good of a season as foles

and kaep was using the gimmicky read option (and he adjusted anyways, still had a decent season)

while foles is a pocket qb, who actually reads defenses, so it's not like a defensive coordinator can say "ok, make him beat you with arm, like they tried with kaep, foles runs a 5.1 40 for christ sakes)

As a texans fan was briefly upset that he had gabbert an entire category ahead of keenum. Then I got even more upset at myself for spending even a millisecond actually caring. Now I'm pondering whether I will continue watching the nfl at all if we draft manziel.................my username is never going to stop making sense

Pretty sure he had Wallace, Hartline and a pretty damn good TE to throw to in Clay. Still tho, I agree he's probably on par with those guys or slightly better

Luck and Rivers in the tier of Elite QBs, Foles not. Fail.

Luck is a really good young QB, and he may make the leap. But he's not in that top tier right now. Nor is Rivers. I like Cam ALOT, but I'm iffy on hiim too.
