Alright guys... Tonight is a family event downtown at a restaraunt called the Heathman. I'm curious as to what y'all would order... Pick from these top 3:

1) 15 oz pork chop

2) Bacon wrapped venison

3) Moullard Duck breast

Never tried venison and it sounds pretty dank

Darm. It's a really hard call as all three sound awesome. That said, I'd probably go for #2. A very close second choice would be #3.

Bacon wrapped venison sounds dope, but I'm a big fan of duck.

Would rule out pork chop and make a game-time decision on the other two depending how I felt at the time

Venison. Can't get it in my area restaurants. I like different, exotic foods.

Definitely the bacon-wrapped venison.

venison minus the bacon, add gravy.
Sadly I'm not a huge bacon fan:(

I'm going for the duck...venison is a bit too gamey for me!

All of the above?

I'd probably go for the Duck simply because it should be Parma Ham wrapped Venison. Seriously?! Wrapping something as refined as Venison in something as everyday as Bacon?! :p

Venison is very nice though.

Damn! The choice between duck and venison is tough! We get venison all the time here in Scotland and it is so tasty! Buuuut I'd probably have the duck, love it!

You can't beat meat wrapped in bacon.

Anything with bacon is delicious.

I guess I'll be the first one to say that to me side dishes are just as important as the meat. I like duck breast and venison equally so in the end, it'd come down to what they are served with. I'd be interested in tasting a restaurant's version of duck l'orange and anything with a cherry sauce is instant win to me... So... Yeah... Can't really decide.

Truer words were never spoken. OP, option #2 easily.

Venison, IMO, = the ****. I grew up in a family that hunted so my views may be skewed. However, if you enjoy fattier meets it won't be for you as the venison I shoot is leaner than chicken breast. The bacon's fat and grease could make up for it.

I have never tried duck but from what I heard it's an oily meat like that of wild game turkey.

Do you prefer pork, poultry, or red meat (+pork)?

Rule# 427 of food snobbery:

Never pass on Venison if it's on the menu!
