You can't make this stuff up

brb rain causes a flood
brb blame it on Israeli dams that don't even exist, lmao

Even the weather is fair game in Hamas’s war of words against Israel. A fabricated claim that Israel intentionally flooded the Gaza Strip during the worst storm to hit the region in decades has made headlines in Middle Eastern and international media over the past week.

Rainfall of 260 millimeters (10.23 inches) was documented in the Gaza area between December 11 and 13, comprising a staggering 60 percent of the annual average for the region.

But force majeure would not suffice for Gaza’s Hamas authorities as an explanation for the population’s suffering. Hamas’s Disaster Response Committee chairman Yasser Shanti told journalists on Friday that Israel opened dams just east of the Gaza Strip, causing a flood in the area of Moghraqa near the town of Deir El-Balah.

Al-Majd, a Palestinian security-oriented website, went so far as to claim that Israel opened the dams in order to expose Hamas tunnels leading into Israel and impose an unbearable financial burden on Gaza’s government. “For Gaza to drown is an old Zionist dream,” the site wrote in a report.

Israel denied Hamas’s claims out of hand.

“The allegation of [Israel] opening dams and flooding the Gaza Strip is baseless and false,” Uri Schor, a spokesman for Israel’s Water Authority told The Times of Israel in an email correspondence Wednesday. No dams even exist in the area, he added, noting that water reservoirs have overflowed across the country, causing flooding.

“The opposite is true: due to the damage caused by the storm — which affected all neighboring countries and not only the Palestinian Authority — Israel responded to a special appeal conveyed through the UN, transferring four high-power pumps to the Gaza Strip intended to help residents remove water from flooded areas.”

But Hamas’s false reports had already run their course. Articles claiming Israel intentionally flooded Gaza went viral on news channels, blogs, and social media.

It had been unseasonably dry in the area and Israel was just trying to help water those olive trees.

They extended the irrigation system from the Kineret to Gaza. Then they flooded it.

This isn't the first time they do it...

It wasn't rain, it was the tears of palestinian children, still Israel's fault.

The dams exist. The Je...Zionists have cast their invisibility spell over them, the same way that they made the 6 million juice that "died" in the holocaust disappear.

is there a aerial map of this allegation? depending on how the sewer system works in Israel it might be possible to relieve water in the Gaza strip, again that depends on city plans. Is there a link to the complaints filed from Hamas's side so we too can know what that spokesman is referring too?

You know whats really funny? The reason they think israel opened dams is because israel has kept them stuffed into those *****holes they are in for so long, they don't even know what is in their immediate geographic area LOL...isn't that a riot?

That's actually even funnier. They don't know what's in their immediate geographic area, so without any information they blindly blame israel. Then you wonder why we always question charges coming from the Palestinians as they are clearly willing to blame Israel when there is zero proof that Israel did anything wrong. And lets not act like this is a "poor palestinian" problem, there are plenty of Arabs/Muslims from Egypt/Syria/Jordan/Iraq/Iran that do the same thing. Everything is Israel's fault. So yeah, its pretty funny.

I forgot that weather modification wasn't in existence.

Just because some Muslims say something outlandish doesn't mean every part isn't true.

I'm sure Israel would have no interest in secretly drilling wells to flood the area.

And why shouldn't they blame the people that control them and their areas for things that happen of such a large scale. I'm glad you thin that keeping th palestinians ignorant and secluded is so humorous. This is why Israel gets no sympathy when the random missile or 20 starts landing in school yards

Enough of the BS, Hamas keeps them ignorant. They execute people for listening to music at weddings for god's sake. Egypt blockades a large portion of their border with a shoot to stop policy allowing no supplies to pass through.

They wanted their own government, they got it, now like in every other arab garbage dump their lives are in the hands of abusive corrupt leadership.

Enough of your fairytales kiddo, visit Gaza, put your money where your mouth is, you'll see where the real problem is.

And with that attitude, don't act so bewiledered when Israel goes into the Gaza Strip with Tanks to take out the terrorists that were voted into power by the poor innocent palestinians.

It is very nice of you guys to give flairon the time of day.

Anyway, the Muslim world blames Israel for everything under the sun, including tsunamis, animal attacks, etc. This is light weight compared to the usual claims. Still pretty funny though.
