View Full Version : 20% BF Need Advice

Hey all, im about to start a cut. I am 5' 9" and roughly 19-20% BF. I want to cut down to around 13-14% im trying to be realistic. Im curious how I figure out my macros? This has always been difficult for me. In terms of Fats, Protein, Carbs, also good sources of these. Im fine with sticking to a simple, effective, diet. It doesnt need to be anything crazy like protein spinach lettuce pancakes or whatever nonsense you see on here. lol. Any help is greatly appreciate. I also lift 5 days a week with cardio 3 times a week. In terms of a cutting regimen, should it look more like lower weight more reps? Ive heard a lot of controvery on this. Do I still lift heavy and just do more cardio? Again thank you for your time.

I recommend using FFM and getting minimums of .45g/lb fats and 1g/lb protein, while consuming 10-20% deficit.

As for training, well it's your decision although I would recommend a heavy barbell program so you can make the most out of your strength gains and retention while dieting.

Diet will be your choice. Use a food scale and a nutrition tracking android app or an online tracker to track your nutrients.
