BUMP!

Looking for more opinions on my macros! I think the high carbs have been making me feel a lot more energized in the gym...

To the above posters, what are the consequences of fats being too low? Will it have any negative effects on me? Just wondering!

Dunno but beside the obvious fats too low, cals sounds too low as well (I don't know what your tdee sounds like but judging by your lifts and pics I doubt you will gain a lot with 2700cals, you are already a big dude and we aren't talking about fat here, generally muscular guy like you need eat way more than that to bulk)...

Fat is essential for hormonal function and proper fat consumption increases and promotes testosterone.

cumminslifter,

I used a macro calculator online, and it gave me macros around that zone. The macros I listed above are what I've been eating for the past few days; obviously changed by me. I've already had 2 or 3 failed bulks, where I either gained too much fat, not enough muscle, or got an injury and had to lay off the weights. Due to frustration, I'm trying to put on lean mass the right way, eating only BRO foods and having a cheat meal once a week.

My opinion is that I may be having too many carbs and possibly the fats being too low, but thats why I'm posting here to find out if the macros will support lean mass gain.

EDIT: Also trying to hit the correct macros obviously, which is another reason I am posting here.

Your choice but not needed... That being said are you sure you will put on weight on 2,700 cals? That sound like nothing for a guy that look like you. That's what skinny guys like me bulk on...
