View Full Version : So is this the week people wake up and realize that there's only one good SEC team?

Every other team is either terrible or insanely overrated.

i mean just look at South Carolina, elite on both sides of the ball. they should be #2 after Bama since they beat this not-overrated-at-all Mizzou team.

lol, wouldnt this apply to pretty much every other conference? Who else is good in the Big 10 but OSU? In the ACC other than FSU? In the Pac 12 other than Oregon? I'm sure you get my point. People say this every year but come bowl season the SEC still dominates.

This. Clemson was an overrated #3 and Duke upset #14 VT. Every conference is like this the SEC just has more ranked teams most of the time so its much more obvious when theyre overrated.

outside chance in happens in the cotton bowl this year, but we be Slappin fools so we hope to be in BCS as Big 12 champs at minimum if we knock off OU in 2 weeks.

SEC has more offense this year that i think i've ever scene. Alabama has a pretty nasty combo of O and D. Oregon or Flor St. could slip up, but either of those 2 are less than 7 point dogs against Bama

Ohhh and that crack head mad hater at LSU has a few tricks up his sleeve this year @ Tuscaloosa. Happpy loooooooook outtttttttttt!

SEC is a mess this year. But still the toughest confrence by FAR. Not saying that a team from another confrence can't beat an SEC team.

Look at Ohio States schedule. Then look at Tennessee's schedule. So unfair for TN. But it is what it is because that's your confrence.
South Carolina schedules teams that are teams like the ones Oregon typically play as our chill out and relax home coming games .

There are TONS of good teams in the SEC. Alabama is above the rest but still. This is also a down year for the SEC which is saying something.

LSU
A&M
Bama
Georgia
Mizzou (with starting QB)
Auburn
South Carolina

Obviously Bama is the only GREAT team in the conference, but there's maybe 3 "great" teams in the entire nation. You put the top 8 of the SEC against the rest of the top 8 best teams in the nation and the SEC would still win in a round robin.

What is this crap? If you're gonna say this about the SEC you can say it about every conference. ACC is the same becaus they all have a loss except for FSU. Big 10 the same.

All in all the SEC is VERY down this year and there is a lot of parity in college football as a whole this year. But SEC is still the best conference you would be a fool not to realize that from top to bottom all things considered the SEC is the best. Maybe not dominating, but they are the best.

But are 3-4 teams from any other conference getting retarded rankings when its completely obvious they shouldn't be?

-Georgia and Florida lose to bottom feeder SEC teams with their backup QBs.
-South Carolina shouldn't even be ranked, but they beat a top 5 Mizzou team that jumped from 24 to 5 in two weeks beating two unranked teams. South Carolina will be ranked inside the top 15 this week.
-LSU, why the hell are they ranked #13, they beat poverty Fordham, they will be top 10 this week with wins over no one and two losses. Lost to Mississippi who was missing a ton of players for that game.

Watching A&M is boring to me. I've seen 3 of their games so far this season and it's a lot of an absentee defense with Manziel back there throwing stupid passes getting bailed out by an NFL receiver. I can't imagine Baylor's much different but, admittedly, I haven't seen one of their games this season.

A&M is the Manziel and Evans show. Baylor is legit everywhere, so much speed at WR and Seastrunk is a great back.

Baylors defense is quietly allowing 15.9 PPG.

Stanford may be one of the top 2 teams int he Pac but that doesn't mean they are complete or NC caliber. Oregon hasn't changed either. Overall they're soft as charmin and continue to play that phaggoty finesse ball. It's disgusting and a disgrace to the game.

I'm not sure what a turn muncher is. Is that something your drill sergeant called you when you enlisted at 27yo because you had no other options in life?

Every conference this year is pretty much down to 1 NC contender. Not sure what all this Standford talk is, they lost to a pretty crappy Utah team. I'd also probably take A&M, LSU, and maybe Mizzou/Auburn to beat Stanford, probably be close games though.

I've been saying it for a few weeks now in my facebook discussion group, and even AU fans have been calling me crazy. AU is the biggest threat to Bama's 3-peat. They've been getting better with every game.

Of course when Allbarn beat a battered and barely functional Manziel and Evans A&M, nuthuggers started coming out of the woodwork.

They're a legit good team that's starting to come together though. FSU
/AU would be a tossup imo.
