Mostly these helmet to helmet contact rules and hits on defenseless receivers. The thing is that the refs have to make sure they don't fuk up the calls.

I use to play throughout middle school (corner) and only the beginning of freshman year cuz I'd never forget the hit I took that made me play popwarner for that year. If it wasn't for that hit I woulda played all 4 years in highschool.

It's good they are worried about safety. Like those meriwether hits are uncalled for should defiantly be flagged. Someone could really get hurt. Even though football players know the risk you can't just target their heads

The problem is the are way too trigger happy with the flags. Especially when the qb is involved. 90% of the hits they flag look clean to me. There's also gonna be a lot of contact you can't control when playing full speed
