Lol about to be fired, might as well destroy the team's franchise player's career. Dude is a POS.

He said that because Jon Lynch claims to have played through one as a safety and made the pro bowl, that Doug Martin should "seriously consider the idea"

What would you expect from a guy that has his D blitz against kneeldowns? In before he suits up for games at RB with no pads, because who needs pads when you've got heart.

Because Rutgers really cares about hiring stable people.

I lol'd at that "breaking madden" feature where none of his Dbacks would make tackles on open receivers because "schiano men lead, they don't pursue"

What a terrible hire. Everyone knew this was a bad hire at the time as well. An assh*le college coach from Rutgers. LOL

...and reaching for them in the draft, rounds ahead of where any reasonable front office would grab them.

Ya so? Imagine being that rookie getting handed that paycheck

So it's a business. You do what's best for the team/business. You don't throw bones to people just because you already have a rapport with them. It'd be awesome to be that rookie to get that paycheck. But if I was a bucs fan or someone who was making money off the franchise, I would be pissed that he wasn't grabbing the best players available.

also for what it's worth, the only rutgers player that he grabbed was a second day pick iirc. glennon didn't play at rutgers, schiano just tried to recruit him there.

I've played football with a torn labrum, and have continued to do so. Mind you if he just tore it, it would be way too sore to play with, but once it's been torn for a while, you tape it it up or put a brace on it and it's fine.
