Id rather get a few postseason wins. Kershaw has what 7 games? ONE win?

Ill take Verlander and Scherzer

It's pretty close imo.

Kershaw is a stud. Grienke is a pretty good pitcher though I think hes a bit overrated.

Verlander was amazing through the playoffs but had a down year so to speak. Scherzer finally lived up to his potential and had great year.

Kershaw>Verlander>Scherzer>Grienke

this.. did you watch his last start lol? Verlander and scherzer pretty much pitched no hitters all post season. That's what matters.. not regular season.

Don't worry your rotation is going to be looking good in a couple years.

Rondon and Appel are great 1-2 punches for years to come.

Besides that last game where he blew up, Kershaw wasn't receiving much run support. Pretty small sample size as well.

And everyone knows wins is an overrated stat.

Post-season choke artists dont count now?

Good luck with your ace losing game 1 or 2 and expecting to win a World Series.

Off the top of my head he has like a 5.0 era average

You must look further into the sabermetrics.

this. Plus they did it against AL teams and not a poverty offense like the Braves.

Verlander + Scherzer = Brady
Kershaw = Manning

I'll take a Prime Pedro and El Guapo over either of those options.

You can't compare football and baseball like that. A QB has more control of the game. Plus the only one who has a ring is Verlander and he's been in the league the longst. Goingj forward you would be retarded to pick Verlander over Kershaw who doesn't have the mileage on his arm yet. Verlander didn't have that great of a season either, he just heated up at the right time.

EDIT: Verlander never won a world series, my bad
