New York Potato Giants

10 offense
5 special teams
30 defense

Our offense has been putrid
drops everywhere, turnovers literally ending our season from the get go
Defense cant get any sacks or cover anyone, but we showed some life on Monday night shutting
down AP, but its not hard when your QB overthrows 50% of his passes and goes 5/55

with andre brown back soon, and hopefully moving randle to #2 and nicks to #3, maybe we'll see some production.
Oh yea, eli hit some receivers ffs, not the cb's

Rams:

Offense: 10. Bradford still afraid to go downfield so dumps it off every pass, now he's done for the season. Also the worst run game I've ever seen from a Rams team.

Defense: 15. Worst run D in the league along with a below average pass D.

Special teams: 5.

For a grand total of 30.

45 for offense/45 for defense/10 for special teams. Feel free to give an explanation for each unit

Packers:

Offense: 38/45

The running has improved greatly and the offense is as balanced as it's ever been in the Rodgers era. They've been really good between the 20s, but drives have been stalling. Injuries have become a problem.

Defense: 29/45

They've been really good against the run, and inconsistent against the pass. They've pressured quarterbacks well, and hopefully the pass defense continues to improve with the return of Hayward and Burnett. Nick Perry and Clay Matthews need to get healthy.

Special teams: 6/10

I'll give three points to Crosby. Two points to Micah Hyde. One point to Masthay for being average. They've been terrible returning kickoffs, they've made a lot of mental erros, and Slocum (the ST coach) has been bailed out by the fairly new kickoff rules. Crosby has been awesome and Micah Hyde has been a great special teams player.

I'll say 73 out of 100.

Should grade using these metrics

QB play-15 points
WRs-10 points
OL- 10 points
Rbs- 10 points

15 pts each per level of defense

I don't like your grading system so I'm gonna do it my way. Each out of 100, just like school grades.

Eagles

Offense: 85. The Eagles are able to move the ball and are the most explosive offense in the NFL and one of the best running teams in the league. But they're horribly inconsistent and make a lot of stupid mistakes, holding them back from being a truly great unit.

Defense: 70. Linebackers and safeties can't cover, Cary Williams is mediocre, and the pass rush is there and not there. And when it's not there, we get killed. There are some talented players, but this is an overall pretty bad defense.

Special Teams: 80. It's been okay, nothing great but nothing too bad either.

I predicted the Eagles to go 9-7 this year and they're pretty much on track to be a middle of the road team. I love Chip Kelly and what he has done, but the personnel is still pretty poor and there are too many mistakes made on offense. Still in contention for the NFC East, but I think if they want to win it they'll have to win at Dallas and hit 9 wins on the year.

49ers 78/100

Kinda harsh on them, but they could be playing much better. Play calling and injuries.

Offense 34/45

QB - 6/9 - Kaep starting to come around. Would be a 7 if we had a decent backup.
RB - 8/9 - Gore still has it, so does KH. would be 9/9 if they figured out how to use LMJ.
WR - 4/9 - Boldin is a stud. thats it
TE - 8/9 - VD is a beast, need to get McDonald more involved.
OL - 8/9 - Beast OL, need to get better in pass pro, but run blocking is tops.

Defense 37/45
DL - 11/15 - Guys are banged up and hurting. playing well, but not as dominant as we expected.
LB - 14/15 - P52 and N53 are doing their thing. Brooks is awesome. Aldon gone hurts, but Lemonade is doing ok.
DB - 12/15 - Playing pretty well considering the pass rush sucks.

ST 7/10 - Coverage unit is much improved. PR/KR are kinda middle of the pack.

Seahawks

35/45 Offense
5th in the league in scoring but our offense still has so much work to do.. our offensive line gets tossed around and it forces Wilson to have to scramble almost every play. Lynch mixed with a little bit of Turbin have been putting the team on their back.. 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards per game. Once we get Harvin back and we can stretch the field more, I think our passing game will increase.

40/45 Defense
3rd in the NFL for points allowed and 2nd in yards allowed. We've had some injury issues but our secondary is still the best in football (pls no negs). Sherman may be a cock (Fitz laid him out, don't worry) but stats don't lie. Still wish we could get to the QB more.. only 20 sacks or something on the season so far.

9/10 Special Teams
Besides the phuck up during the Indy game, absolutely solid. Good kick and punt returns, good coverage, etc.

84/100 for dem Hawks

Special Teams: -400000000000

Fuk Texans special teams, srs. Fuk Joe Marciano, srs. ST cant fukking cover worth a fukking spec of turd. Fukking phaggots decide to take a shot at a return 8 yds deep in the endzone and start at the 6. Offense has been able to move the ball but fukking blows in the redzone. Was the problem down the strech last season. With Keenum out there and Foster going out early and Tate breaking 4 ribs didn't help the Texans ability to move the ball effectively. Defense has been okay against the run, was very good against the run in KC for the most part. They have been god awful in the redzone. Statistically were the "#1 defense in the NFL" going into KC but to me doesn't mean jack when you can't defend the redzone.

Redskins

Offence 36/45

Horrible start, but RG3 got it rolling now. We should be using Helu a lot more. Looks like they can oput up pts fairly easily on weaker Ds now

Defence 29/45

Due to our salary cap penalty this year and last (finally over next off season) Redskins havent been able to pick up free agents. Our D has suffered the most and we have rookies starting and other dudes that would be cut by other teams. The few play makers we do have, have been creating turnovers and pts on defence so it hasn't been all bad

Special Teams

2/ 10

Yeh just horrible

Overall 67/100

49ers.

Offense - 25

Maybe I'm still pissed mad about the Seattle/Indy games but they've taken way too long to find their offensive identify. Passing game outside of week 1 has really been basic and uninspired and outside of Boldin and Davis there's nobody on the team to threaten other teams. They're finally getting back to what made them good last year but it's taking too long. Finally they're getting a little more creative passing the ball, finally utilizing running backs and finally letting Colin run.

Defense - 35

Injuries and the Aldon Smith suspension have hurt the unit and they were pretty awful the first 3 weeks. Surprisingly the injury to Asomugha was one of the better things to happen to the defense as Brock has replaced him in a big way. Eric Reid has been a great fill in for Dashon Goldson and Whitner has played much better than last year. Big issue right now is lack of pass rush without Aldon Smith. For all the people thinking he's made by Justin Smith, well it's week 8 and Aldon still leads the 49ers in sacks after only playing 3 games. Obviously it's not as easy as lining up next to Justin.

Special Teams - 9

Not a perfect 10 only due to Kyle "Fair Catch" Williams. Coverage unit has been sexy as hell tho.

what are we basing this on? is 45/45 on defense the best in the NFL this year or are we comparing them to the 2000 ravens/86 bears?

Ill assume the first and say

35/45 on offense: poverty O-line, once theyre healthy and Harvin is the fray they will (or at least damn well should) move to 40-45
40/45 on defense: I feel like this unit should be one of the goats but they just seem to miss a few things here and there each week
10/10 special teams: Kickers only miss was blocked, Ryan is a solid punter, coverage is great
